So So So Good!!

I guess a lot of us vegany types know our way around a falafel, I'd like to think I do, but yooo, this place slaps!! So delicious, super fresh, friendly service, great outdoor space with views, on a super cute street. Came here after seeing it on Happy Cow and now wife and I wish we were spending a night or two in Dilijan haha. We might drive back 40min from Sevan just to eat here again. And great beer for those who like beer. Go!!

Pros: Falafel wrap, Tons of fresh veg, Falafel itself fresh and scrump-dilly-uptious

Great falafel, even though you have to remove the sauce

A nice little place that makes good falafel. The falafel itself is tasty and a little dry, but the vegetables are not spared and they compensate for the dryness of the falafel. Lavash is firm and does not fall apart, even if we keep it in the fridge for a while.

I can't say it's something incredible: if you'll be in Dilijan, you'd better try vegan lamajo in Losh, or vegan calzone in Dilijan Fresh, or dolma in Kchuch, but still we often order here when we don't want to cook. For us, it's a universal option that doesn't get boring and is affordable.

Shaurmyan is located in a tourist-friendly part of the city, near the old Dilijan. And also there is a beautiful view, if you eat outside.

The guys at the place are already used to our constant vegan requests. But unfortunately they can't come up with a vegan sauce, even though we keep asking them for it :(
So:
- If you get falafel, ask them not to add garlic sauce and ask for more veggies instead
- If you get fries or country fries, ask them to substitute garlic sauce for the cherry sauce.

They have two types of falafel in lavash: standard and XL. I usually get the XL and can eat it at once (if I'm really hungry) or split it in two. The standard one seems small to me.

Oh, and one more thing: there's usually a large dog living near the cafe. Someone is afraid of him, because he can defend his territory. Talk to him affectionately and don't be afraid, he likes to have his belly scratched :)

Pros: Located in the tourist part of the town, Not too expensive

Cons: You have to ask to remove the sauce
