Great service. Knowledgeable on offerings and in English too. Really original food with generous portions. The shop owner Lennon was very nice and talked about each of the dishes for tasting. Amazing service loved being there. He even threw in a free apple gyoza for our honeymoon. Canât recommend this place enough. A must go if youâre vegan in Madrid

Delicieux restaurant ! Et un service impĂ©cable. La cuisine fermait quand nous sommes arrivĂ©s, mais Geraldine et Diana nous ont proposĂ© de prendre Ă emporter et nous ont mĂȘme offert un dessert.
Les baos sont bien garnis, les tiramisus peuvent rendre jaloux les recettes traditionnelles.

What a wonderful lunch! Our server, Diana, was really personable, very attentive, and gave us excellent service. The food was just delicious. I was hoping to buy a Shlen cookbook⊠maybe in the future? Highly recommend!

A suburb evening at Shlen, the taster menu was a delight with every dish offering a refreshing new take on some classics and some truly bold tastes. The Boa buns are superb and prepare the palette for the crispy duck expertly. To finish we had apple gyozas and the biscoff cheesecake and the cheesecake is a treat. To top it all we were served by the amazing Simon who took great pleasure in explaining every dish, how itâs made why itâs made and even in some cases how it should be eaten. He is the secret sauce in Shleens kitchen. A truly superb night and we will be repeating

We visited a bunch of good vegan/vegan-friendly restaurants in Madrid and this one really stood out.

I was very impressed with the tofu inside the maki. I believe that i have never tried anything simmilar before.
I would recommend this spot to anyone, even if you're staying a bit farther away from it. It is absolutely worth it!

My wife and I had two different types of gyoza as starters. They were both very good and had the distinct flavors described by the menu and the waiter.
My wife had the sushi sabki maki as main, which was very tasty as well.
I had the Katshlen Curry as main and it was simply a perfect dish. The rice was very aromatic and had just the right texture. The curry was excellent and had a nice thickness to it. The "chicken" patty complemented the dish perfectly and was easy enough to eat, despite its positioning on top of the rice. The curry convinced me to come back to the restaurant on the following day.
For dessert, we shared the pistachio cheesecake. It was very tasty, albeit a bit sweet (which the waiter let us know when ordering).
All in all just an amazing place! Definitely check it out if you can.
