Serves meat, vegan options available. Bar and grill offering a vegan burger. Other items can be made vegan upon request. Open Mon-Fri 11:30am-2:00am, Sat 11:30am-1:00am, Sun 11:30am-2:00am.
I really loved the atmosphere/vibe of this place. It’s a really cool place located in Pilsen.
The options are quite limited for vegans here; however, if you are vegetarian you’re in luck because your options are much more plentiful.
I ate here a while ago and had the black bean burger. I remember specifically that it was average, because I definitely did not plan to return for another. But it should be noted that I’m not a huge fan of black bean burgers anyway. I see that they’ve now added the impossible burger to their menu with a vegan bun and vegan cheese, so this looks like it could be a promising option for vegans. I will definitely try this when I’m in the area next.
If you’re in the area, I would definitely suggest going here because of the atmosphere alone.
Limited options but good food & atmosphere at Simone’s - Edit
A veggie burger or a vegan burger. Those are the two dedicated vegetarian options, but other dishes can be ordered vegetarian — and possibly vegan, maybe? Find out and tell me. The veggie burger was kind of dry on its own, but great with ketchup and mustard. Mixed sweet potato fries and regular fries as a side, which were inconsistent size and shape and texture and friedness, but clearly cut by hand and with love, and they were delicious.
Good beer selection and great music while I was there. Terrific, sleek decor: metal and wood in industrial and handcrafted designs, a bit steampunk in the glass accents. Very good design. Some members of the staff were friendly and others were flat. Would definitely return. ★★☆
