Service was super friendly , the food was quick to arrive but my oh my the gourmet burger was a taste sensation ! The portion isn’t too big but the quality in each bite was impeccable . Photo taken after devouring it it was too good to stop eating . We also had cheese cake which was very light and yummy - highly recommend !

Camping nearby so made a special visit to the only fully vegan restaurant in the area. We had the gourmet burger which was amazing! Nothing like we have tasted before, everything handmade on the premises, even the rolls. Also had the cheesecake, can highly recommend the pear and chocolate, husband had the mango cheesecake. If you're in the area please support this vegan restaurant! Gorgeous courtyard seating area too! We were served by a lovely English speaking lady, all the staff are super friendly. 💚🌱

Nous avons même pris à emporter pour le soir, pour se régaler encore !

We spent 6 X nights at a nearby campsite and came here twice - I'd happily have gone every day and tried all the different burger combinations! The smoothies are also fantastic. All the staff we encountered were friendly. There is a menu in English which is useful. While there isn't indoor seating, the pretty walled garden is a fantastic place to enjoy your burger. I liked the sustainable efforts - compostable packaging & proper cutlery for example. A brilliant little spot.

My husband and I have recently moved to the area and have been looking for a Vegan restaurant and this place came up! It was a very rainy day and the place looked closed but they were very much open! We had to have takeaway as there is no inside seating, only outside seating, but they were more than happy to help us! Fantastic burgers, especially the seitan steak burger, great cakes and a wonderful warm welcome ! We will be back and telling all our guests about this place too! So amazing! A must for vegans visiting Perigord region - Edit
After visiting the Dordogne / Perigord area for many years and struggling to find any vegan options beyond "Pizza Sans Fromage", it is great to see so many vegatarian / vegan restaurants opening up recently. The short drive up the Vezere valley now (September 2017) offers vegetarian restaurants or cafes in Les Eyzies, St Leon sur Vezere, Thonac and Montignac (and maybe more).
Read moreSmooVie Grignotheque is a delight, located in the beautiful St Leon sur Vezere. We opted for the Burger and the Avacado sandwich, both of which were delicious and filling. These were followed up with 2 delicious coffees, one of which, the house specialty, was a lovely latte style coffee, with almond milk and coconut paste adding a delicious sweet flavour. A home made muffin was the perfect accompaniment! We loved the courtyard where we ate our meal and realy enjoyed chatting to the friendly proprieter James.

Nice work Smoovie. What a peaceful vegan haven you have created in an already beautiful part of the world; my family and I feel so at home here, in the shade of the fig tree in your tranquil courtyard, eating and drinking your vegan delights. Quite apart from the setting: your creativity with ingredients is quite remarkable. I can highly recommend the homemade veggie burger and the homemade falafel. The flavours of sauces and accompaniments have been created with so much love and attention. I only wish I could create such flavour sensations in my own kitchen - (by the way, when is your cookbook coming out?) And today you really floored us: we could hardly believe it when you brought us a sample - for free - of your new vegan foie gras that you have been working on. I thought I'd seen it all...but apparently not! I eagerly await your next ground breaking creation. Vegans & vegetarians in the region: do yourself a favour - go eat at Smoovie, you won't regret it.
