Very disappointing! Was closed during posted opening hours - Edit
I drive out of my way to eat at and to support this cafe and I got there st opening time on Saturday, June 1st. I waited until 11:10am, but there was no sign of life. I couldn’t find any posted hours on their website or on their physical building so unfortunately, I can’t help by reporting new hours.

Second-to-None Fuji View - Edit
We were hungry and had decided to skip Solar Cafe as the lack of reviews left us skeptical, but then we drove right past it and simply had to stop. The cafe is, in a word, adorable. It has indoor and outdoor seating and a small market inside selling tea, natural beauty products, and crystals. What really sets it apart, though, is the unobstructed view of Fuji from the front patio. Even if they hadn’t had any vegan options it still would have been worth sitting down with a mug of their local mint tea just to enjoy the view. The vegan options simply made the experience better! When I asked what we could eat, I was directed to their selection of pizzas and was told that any of them could be made with vegan cheeze. We had the margarita and the garlic-garlic, and though portions were Japanese small, they were excellent. We also had fresh pineapple juice and fresh orange/grape mix juice, both excellent. At the end of the meal we were even brought two mugs of their signature mint tea and it was the first time I’ve ever enjoyed the drink. All in all, it was a delightful afternoon! The only thing I didn’t like, and the reason I’m removing one star, is that I don’t believe the cafe is vegetarian. I saw BBQ hot dogs on the menu and while I didn’t ask for clarification, saw no indication that they weren’t the real thing.

Cons: Not vegetarian.
