Not fully vegan but decent choice

Downstairs bar/cafe type of place. Good choice of beers and reasonable vegan choice although a lot is veggie. Seems to be mainly curry and burger. Staff nice and decent music. Kinda quite for Saturday afternoon but maybe that's how it is. Has a pool table!

Pros: Vegan choice., Choice of beer, Staff nice

Cons: Careful as some stuff veggie

Really delicious pan-Indian food

Visited here after seeing an exhibition in the city centre. Was a bit of a walk but worth it.
Vegan dishes are clearly marked but it would be good to have the vegan mark on the paratha too just to make it clear!
We had the bhaji, chana bhature, butter ‘chicken’ and tarka dal

I live in a place where getting such dishes done authentically is quite difficult, as things feel more catered to a western palette. But I was pleased to have the butter ‘chicken’ made with soya chaap that reminded me of similar dishes eaten in busy North Indian marketplaces. The accompaniments for the bhaji were really complementary too.

Overall would very much recommend to anyone visiting Birmingham

Pros: Delicious food , Lots of space

By pan-Indian I mean various North Indian, didn’t want to mislead people into thinking dosa are on the menu!

Quiet and cozy

Great setting in the heart of JQ - has a pool table too. Food wise was abit of a let down. The papdi chaat was overcooked/ too crunchy. The paneer makhani tasted good (not much of it for £7.50 though and rice was completely tastless. The veg grilled sandwich was nice 👍

Pros: Location, Cozy, Pool table

Cons: Portion sizes, Papdi chaat

Veggie Indian and good beer

Modest but tasty choice of Indian food. All veggie with vegan choices clearly marked. Apparently kitchen will be upgraded and menu widened.

Pros: 100% veg Indian food, Good beer, Nice venue

Wow sooooo GOOOOOD!

It was sooooo GOOD! I desperately to return next day because how good it was!! I would definitely recommend buttermilk chicken. This place is vegetarian but they have plenty vegan options. It was cool place and a lot of drinks at bar. Will be back when I am in B-ham again!

Pros: High quality and fresh food, Good price, Lovely atmosphere & friendly

Cons: Nothing!

Fabulous food

All the food was veggie, with most having vegan versions too. Just had a lovely pot of samosas with chick pea curry and beer battered bhajis. Very tasty and just the right portion size for a lunch. Reasonably priced too. Nice venue, was very quiet on this visit. Highly recommend.

Pros: Good menu, Very tasty, Reasonable prices
