This restaurant is settled directly at the beach and has a nice view over the ocean. The staff was friendly and they have three dogs and a cat living there:)
Read moreSo it really does have a nice atmosphere but the food was not nice at all: I ordered a tomato salad with naan bread (even asked them if it was real naan and they said yes). The tomato salad was just a couple of slices tomate (yeah I know what I ordered but usually you get it nice decoratet or whatever but no..just 10 slices of tomato's and that was it for 120thb! And the naan, well of course it wasn't a naan, it was a thaipancake..
The food looked so sad as I felt at that moment. Waste of money!

Lots of veggie options and understand vegan. Nice music and a decent menu. I’d definitely recommend for sunset too!

Nice vibe, no vegan options - Edit
Het is een gezellige strand tent met fijne muziek. Wij vroegen of we Vegan eten konden krijgen. Dit was niet mogelijk, er werd verteld dat ze bakken in olie die niet vegan is. We zijn naar de strand tent ernaast gegaan jay-dee, hier wel voldoende vegan opties.

Beautiful beachside cafe serving all kinds of vegan options. We had the pumpkin curry and Tom Kah soup and both were exceptional. Slow food so get a drink and enjoy the sounds of the sea and the eclectic mix of rock and reggae haha

Fabulous location and good choice of vegan food! - Edit
Really enjoyed our meal at Soul Kitchen - the view was breathtaking and the restaurant had a lovely chilled vibe. Played great music too! Old school rock. They had a whole vegetarian page in menu which without egg was vegan. We ordered tofu satay, papaya salad and green curry. Perfect place to watch the sunset - Highly recommend!

Glacial and Rude Service - Edit
OK, so we're on Koh Lanta and the place is called Soul Kitchen, so laid-back is expected. But the glacial pace of service and food delivery was quite frustrating. And our server was downright rude, telling us to "chill out" when trying to get the check to get our kids home to bed. And telling the kids to "move out of the way" while petting the adorable restaurant kittens (who themselves are stretched out right "in the way")? That's just unnecessarily cruel.
Read moreFood was OK if nothing special. Go with potato and corn from the grill and avoid the eggplant, which was oil-soaked tempura. Skip this place and go next door to Jai-Dee, which has better food and infinitely superior and friendly service.

Very good, owner is veg himself - Edit
Talked to owner he has been vegetarian for 20 years no prob to order anything vegan he understands. Owner said that he used to cook by himself but he wouldn’t make much money with vegetarian dishes so he had to offer meat dishes which he is not cooking but his staff. He said he makes sure meat and veg stuff is kept separate and cooking utensils are cleaned which I like as I’m always abit unsure when eating at a place where they offer meat.
