Light meals & gluten-free cakes - Edit
Cosy place for a snack or a small meal. The quiche and grilled croissants are highly recommended! The cake, however, wasn't my favourite. Certainly an oasis for people who appreciate gluten-free options. Very child-friendly and close to the forest for a walk before or after.

For anyone doubting that a quiche can be vegan and gluten free and still taste delicious, you need to come and try the quiche at souls! Great coffee, cakes, sandwiches soups and salads. Vegan croissants to! But the food is not the only reason to come here. Souls is more than just a cafe and lives up to its name. Events such as yoga and live music take place here, the owner is so warm and friendly and is creating a community. The whole cafe and concept is created with love and attention to detail.

It's fully vegan, it's cozy, staff is super friendly the coffee is amazing and so is the array of cakes. Also offers savory goodies like soup, breads and quiche. My personal tip: Start with a quiche and then top it off with a slice of carrot cake.

10 convincing reasons to visit this place - Edit
1. first things first: it's fully vegan!
Read more2. the food is super tasty and there are soo many (changing) options.
3. the atmosphere. there's old furniture, chandeliers in a flower style, everything is wooden or in nice colours. there are not only normal seating options but also a couch or bay windows to sit in.
3. the dishes are homemade with loads of love.
4. besides being vegan, this café serves gluten-free and white-sugar-free food only, so if you follow a special diet it's no problem.
5. plants everywhere :))
6. welcoming and friendly staff.
7. kids and dogs are welcome too.
8. according to their google maps bio, they sell coffee which supports women in ecuador. (i think it's kind of a fair trade cooperation.)
9. it's very close to the u72 train station "oberrath" and near the s6 station "rath s" so it's easy to reach. furthermore, the "aaper wald" forest is probably 100m away so this café is a great location to visit after a nice walk.
10. soul's is the only veg place in a 3-4km area so PLEASE MAKE IT STAY
