Spiceklub is great for vegetarians, but it’s somewhat slim pickings for vegans here, as a lot of the menu contains dairy.😕 The good news is, the veganizable options are clearly marked on the menu.
Read moreI would give top marks for the whimsical, avant-garde food presentation (Liquid nitrogen! Syringes for injecting fillings! Dishes served in bubbling test tubes!) and for the kind waitstaff - but as for the vegan food itself, I found it a bit lackluster.
FOOD: 3/5.
I tried the Nitro Bhel, the Pani Puri, the Soya Chaap Hara Masala and the Baked Bhindi Chatpatta (all vegan). The Pani Puri was my favorite of these, and I enjoyed the fun presentation in bubbling test tubes. The Nitro Bhel was good (again, super fun presentation!) but quite spicy even for my seasoned palate.🥵 The soy chaap with its zippy mint sauce was a tasty and protein-rich option (get it!), but I was disappointed in the baked bhindi - I guess I was expecting a dry (not gravy) dish, and it was also on the spicy side. The vegan chili-garlic roti was delicious.
Not a single vegan dessert option made this vegan very sad. 😢

Kind waitstaff who were attentive to my needs as the only vegan in my party. They understand what vegan means and help you order comfortably.

The ambience is modern and nice enough, but major points off for a completely disgusting and un-usable restroom. Would have expected much more from a place like this!

Cons: No vegan dessert, OMG the bathroom was gross! 🤢
