Cozy restaurant, good food but smaller portions

Su Ping Yan Vegetarian Restaurant 素品源 is located in the Futian district. The restaurant may be a bit tricky to find, especially in the dark. Fortune Plaza staff are friendly and helped us with directions.

Once inside, you'll be welcomed by the comforting aroma of warm Japanese rice tea, setting a cozy tone for your meal.

While the staff might not speak English fluently, they have an English menu. Their peanut sauce noodles and the Monkey Head Mushroom dish are definitely worth trying. Just a heads up, portions are on the smaller side, so keep that in mind when ordering.

Surprisingly, they don't offer chili sauce or chili oil, which may be unexpected for some spice lovers.

They close early at 9 pm, so remember to plan your visit accordingly.
