Absolutely amazing - Edit
Let me first say that this is one of the best vegan meals I've had in Oslo.
Read moreThe place is large but cozy, and the staff are attentive and polite. We had the vegan crispy duck and vegan crispy duck massaman. They were both incredible. Such a strong flavor on the crispy duck, and the combinations are great, especially on the vegan crispy duck dish.
They also have a vegan three-course menu which I wanna try next time.
I cannot recommend this place enough.

Delicious and affordable 3-course vegan dinner - Edit
I loved this place, fancy yet relaxed atmosphere and not too expensive. They also have a seperate vegan menu. I had the 3-course dinner option with the Vegan crispy “duck” Massaman as main. I was blown away by it, so creamy and rich in flavour, “ duck” with perfect texture and with tasty potato wedges as well. Probably the best Massaman curry I’ve had so far. The vegan salad as starter was just ok while the strawberry mousse with lime and basil ice cream was really yummy.

Delicious & many vegan items - Edit
Like everything in Norway, restaurants are expensive. Südøst is on the high end of this but it was worth the price. There was a complete vegan menu, or you can choose between many vegan items on the à la carte menu.
Read moreI had vegan dumplings (a few more would be nice, but delicious), the fake duck pancakes were very tasteful. The desert (see photo) looked perfect, the sorbet was very good, the rest was kind of flat of taste.
Pros: Many vegan options, Very nice staff
Cons: The chairs could not be pushed under the table.

Kind of a rip-off - Edit
Initially I was really excited about visiting because I saw they had a three course vegan set menu. I went with a friend who is vegetarian and got the “Steaky pork” and “crispy duck” as our mains. They were exactly the same thing. Like the fake meat they used for both dishes (and even some of the vegetables) were exactly the same, just slightly different sauce. But the “crispy duck” was almost 3 times more expensive than the “steaky pork”. And there was nothing crispy about the “duck”. Is it laziness, a rip-off, or both? On principle, I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Delicious - Edit
I tried the kambocha maki, Pad Thai veggie and kala coco. Everything was really delicious. Forgot to take a picture of everything except the dessert. Would recommend😄

Toller Spot für Asiaküche! - Edit
Trotzdem gerne wieder!

Great asian food! - Edit
We were four vegans and 2 non-vegans, and we all ate great! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was very nice. They had a whole vegan menu with lots of great dishes (the spring rolls and dumplings were so good). They were super accommodating, and even changed their 5 course meal so it was vegan!

Alright Asian! - Edit
This is a good place to go if you're in the area and want some asian food. They have a seating area outside which is great in the summer time, and the food is tasty. I love their pad thai with extra tofu (yum!).

Hands down my favourite restaurant in Oslo - Edit
I love the padthai there, the sushi is really tasty, but the star of the show is the creme burlé! I always leave the restaurant with a smile on my face!

Love it - Edit
I love this place. I do not live in Oslo, but tend to go here every time I visit the city. They have some vegan options, including a set vegan menu. The food is tasty and the venue has a nice and modern vibe
