Good plant based pizza

Good pizza joint with about 5 or 6 plant based choices. I love the crispy crust on Sugo’s pizza’s but some of the staff could at least try to smile.

Pros: Plenty vegan options, Good size slices, Price is alright

Cons: Service was bit rude (monday maybe)

Cute shop, good pizzas

A very cute shop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There were 4 vegan options and plenty of vegetarian options. Service was great and very quick. The dough is delicious although some more options would be great - there was a spicy tomato, a marinara, a mushroom and an olive. Quite delicious and filing. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful vegan pizza without desert

There was a menu with different and freshly made vegan pizzas. It was a great experience and it tasted wonderful.
To bad there was no matching desert with the great soy milk latte.
Thumbs up!

Pros: Fresh, Multiple options, Great coffee and pizza

Cons: No vegan desert

Lunch at Sugo

We arrived at Sugo at lunch time and it was really busy and hectic.
They have five vegan options which are on a special sign, they have to prepare them just for you and you won't find them with the other pizzas.

Pros: Five vegan options

Cons: Hectic at lunchtime , Drinks are expensive

Yummy pizza

There are two or three vegan options, which are nice! I got explained that the pizzadough is very healthy and taken care of very well. Of course, who options is not much, but as a vegan I am happy with options! They are nice. And if you go with other people than vegans who want other food than vegan food, this is a good place. It is not a place to really go for diner, more a place to have a slice and eat there, or take out.

Pros: Small pizza slices, Two vegan options which are tasty, Inexpensive

Cons: More options would be nice

Good pizza!

I went for lunch to this place and was very satisfied with it. The choice is limited (only 2 vegan pizzas): there was one with mushrooms, onions, kalamata olives and basil, and one with tomatoes and something spicy I believe. I choose the first one and was very satisfied with my choice. It had no vegan cheese on it, but it didn't need it. The dough was delicious, it wasn't thin, but it was crusty and light.
Furthermore, their dough is biological. Their drinks are biological as well and are fair-trade.

They make large pizzas and then divide them into smaller pieces. You can order at the counter one, two, three pieces (what you prefer) and they will bring it to you. When you've finished those, you can order again. I first ordered one and then ordered another one. I had also a side mixed salad which was good as well.

Overall: a good experience.

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly staff, Nice vibe

Cons: Limited choice

If you decide to go, just curb your enthusiasm

Since I hadn't had vegan pizza in a while, I was eager to go to Sugo's. Also, as almost all vegan restaurants in the area went bonkers by not accepting any cash (I was terrified when I found out), there aren't many places left to go for vegan food.
There are signs at the main streets pointing to Sugo's, so certainly their advertings is good. Yet, once I was there, I wasn't impressed: Two vegan options (out of 15? or something). The dough was rather thick, personally I'm a fan of a thin one, but at least it was crusty. The toppings however were rather poor in my opinion: just some basic stuff.
Service was flawless though. Pizzas were warmed up quickly, staff was friendly.
Although the slices have perfect take-away-size, there was plenty of space to eat-in, so that's a good thing.
Overall it certainly wasn't an all-bad experience, but the food was just average and not particularly generous considering the price, so if you decide to go, just curb your enthusiasm.
They have another (larger) branch just few minutes away (Westblaak, next to easyHotel).

Pros: friendly staff, plenty of space

Cons: poor vegan range, average taste

Good vegan pizza

They have 2 vegan options everyday, the spinach, walnut, pine nut + caramelized onion one is delicious. On the day I came they had ran out of the other one, which was with potatoes and thyme.

Would be nice if they add more vegan pizzas since they're not bad at them! But for that we need to keep coming back and asking for more vegan :)

Pros: vegan label , clean, friendly staff

Great pizza, nice place

When we arrived it was already quite late, but the staff didn't mind making an extra vegan pizza for us (they'd run out of one of the flavours), they were very friendly (we even got the last slice on the house, since it was closing time and we were "the vegans"). Although there are not many options, the pizza is so good that it's absolutely worth eating here. Bonus points for the vegan wine!

Pros: Great pizza, Friendly staff, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Limited vegan choices, omni place

Vegan pizza!

How I miss the vegan Daiya cheese pizzas which are available in some pizza places (and chains) throughout the US!

So I was really happy when I heard that this place is selling at least 2 different vegan pizzas. I was not sure if they really do have them always but yes, they do. When I was there there was one type of pizza with tomato sauce and mixed vegetables and one with tomato sauce and cherry tomatoes. None of them had "cheese" which does not make them very filling but I suspect those variations are at least healthier than the ones I had in the US.

The vegetables taste fresh and good. I found the cherry tomato pizza version a bit bland, I think it was supposed to be with peppers but I did not taste those at all, only the tomatoes. I believe adding some more (hot) peppers and garlic would be a good improvement here. I did like the pizza with mixed vegetables, though, and I will definitely get back here!

Last but not least: the interior is modern and trendy and the staff really friendly!

Pros: vegan pizza, friendly service, use organic products
