Gourmet vegan menu option

We called to book a few days in advance, asking for a vegan option, as the menus on offer were not. They do 5 or 7 course set gourmet 'tasting' menus.
It was just me (vegan) & my husband (not). The chef excelled himself preparing a full 5 course vegan menu, just for me! (there were no other vegans there that night). As there are few vegan options in any restaurants in this area, I was delighted. The quality of the ingredients and the skill with which they were prepaired was obvious. A lot of thought had gone into it. And to my surprise, the chef, half way through the evening, came up with another vegan dish for me, on the fly! And he even came out to speak to us at the end of the meal to ask our opinion. It was by far the best vegan food I have eaten! Excellent top service also by the waitresses- exactly how one should be served!

Pros: Quality ingredients, Innovative, Excellent service

Cons: No vegan al a carte options on menu, Have to book a few days in advance
