Honey in vegan labelled food! - Edit
I only ever write 5 star reviews.
Read moreHowever…. They don’t know what vegan is completely and this is vital for me.
It was a very popular cafe in a busy part of the city. Tables outside and inside.
Everything seemed to be made fresh with lots of options. Menus in English were a nice touch.
I had to stop a waiter to get service, which is ok but then he served one main meal immediately and said it would be 10 minutes for the pizza.
It was weird to be out for food with someone but to eat separately.
When my friend returned from the bathroom she said it was the wrong dish.
They immediately changed it with no problem but still we were waiting for the pizza.
After 30 minutes. ..still no pizza. It wasn’t busy there anymore so I asked, they said yes it’s coming , 5 minutes.
It came after 10 minutes and was very nice.
We thought we would get dessert but the cakes on display that said they were vegan had honey in them!
Vegans don’t eat anything from animals!
I would like to return here someday but I can not risk the possibility of animal things in my food so I will avoid it for now.
Pros: Variety, Location, Price
Cons: Honey in food labelled vegan , No parking

expensive - Edit
cute cafe with a few vegan options. the lady who served me recommended the sweet bun (can’t remember the name), but i did feel a little pressured to buy it after she’d got it out of the cabinet. came to 12 lev, over £5.20 which is too much for what it is. granted it was tasty, and filling, but for bulgaria? in my opinion is completely overpriced. i cannot comment on the savoury stuff.

Vegan options but rude staff - Edit
I ordered a vegan mish mash, which is like scrambled tofu. I went to the till and said what I would like to order and thought of having a look at the baked sweets (next to the till). But after telling her my order, she was very rude to me. Go and sit! I was gobsmacked by that, so I didn't know what to say and stood there shocked. She repeated again, this time showing me even with her arm gesture that I should go away. I was really considering leaving, but she gave my order through to her colleague. So I went back to my seat and was really upset. I usually would have ordered even a cake and something for take away from the baked goods. But with that treatment, I didn't. I can spend my money somewhere else. The portion for the main dish, was too small in my opinion. I cannot tell if it was nice, as I was so upset.

Lovely place to try banitsa - Edit
We arrived at this little café/bakery/whole food store feeling pretty hungry having just staggered sleepily off the late running overnight sleeper train from Istanbul. We tried a couple of their vegan banitsas, a couple of their soups and a chocolate brownie. Everything was very good, especially the spinach & mushroom banitsa which was amazing. They had pretty good coffee too, which was appreciated after being woken repeatedly in the night by border guards wanting to check our passports! Maybe a bit expensive by Bulgarian standards, but the quality is high.

Banitsa was dry and expensive - Edit
I got the women’s banitsa with chickpeas (5,50 lev if I remember correctly), definitely the worst banitsa I had during my stay in Sofia. It was dry and expensive, I’m not sure if it’s organic ingredients they use or if it’s just a labeled as a more exquisite place that justifies the price. I wouldn’t go eat a banitsa there again, but maybe would come back to try the cakes. Staff was very unfriendly as well.

Crazy Good Cookies! - Edit
Given the range of cookies that were on offer here, I took the recommendation of the very nice gentleman working in the store and went for the date cookie which really was excellent. And, I obviously had to go for orgasm cookie! Nearly as good as the name suggests.

Good choice - Edit
This tiny place will not disappoint you. There are at least 4 types of vegan banitsa (3 savory and one sweet) as well as cakes, biscuits, bars and more. They serve coffee, cappuccino etc. And you can choose different plant-based milks. The banitsa are very good, super tasty and filling. The raw brownie (with dates) was also very good. The top was the chocolate cake (I don't know what to call it, it looks like a muffin but it's not!) This was to die for!! It melts in your mouth, with some slightly crunchy nuts on top and some berries inside to balance the sweetness of the chocolate. Delicious!!!

Delish! - Edit
I can’t remember what it was called, but I ordered a wrap type option with a nice filling. You can get them at the front counter and they are delicious! They even had a dessert one which was apple strudel which I didn’t get. The one I got was lovely!

Chill atmosphere with amazing vegan cakes - Edit
Went here to work during the day as they have wifi, coffee and vegan cakes - and I was happy I did!
Read moreThe atmosphere is chilled, with nice staff and interior. They have a lot of different vegan cakes and also vegan milk. I had their banana cake with coconut, which was creamy and tasted a lot like bananas.
I would recommend going here for a coffee break to try their vegan cakes. They also sell Fairtrade products like coffee and tea and they do have a lunch menu which I was not able to try out. A great place for both a sunny or rainy day as they have a good outdoor area but also a cute indoor area.
