Really good Bulgarian food with loads of vegan options - Edit
Really tasty, interesting, Bulgarian food made vegan.
Read moreThe number of vegan options was. Abit overwhelming when you're used to only being able to choose between 1 or 2 things. Everything we had was delicious though.
Normally I'm very sceptical of raw vegan cakes but the raw cakes were delicious.
Definitely go here if you're in Sofia.
Pros: Bulgarian food, Tasty, Loads of options

Good place, but need more attention to the customer - Edit
We stayed for lunch here, so the rating is for lunch only and not for breakfast. The vegan choice is quite rich, the dishes are good but the attention to the customer does not stand out very much. Several times the word in Bulgarian has been addressed to me, although we have always spoken English. I hope we can focus on courtesy in the future, because it is a nice place.

Hate this place, would give one star if I could. - Edit
First of all the service was horrible. We were seated for literally 45 minutes before they took our order, and this is after we made eye contact and tried to call over our waitress multiple times (she ignored us). When we ordered our drinks she only brought out 2 of them (out of 4) and 20 minutes later we finally asked her for the others to which she scoffed and begrudgingly brought them over. There were surprisingly few vegan options for a vegetarian restaurant, and everything was labeled very confusingly. I ordered the “vegan sausage pizza”, and one bite in I realized it wasn’t vegan cheese. I asked why and they said that only the sausage was vegan and that I had to specify if I wanted vegan cheese??? I asked if they could swap it out and then she said no and that I should have read the menu better. On top of all this, the vegan sausage itself was very burnt and all my friends said that their dishes were similarly mid. Horrible experience overall. Do yourself a favor and go to Soul Kitches, VitaRama, or Edgy Veggie instead.

Tasty food and cosy place - Edit
The food was tasty and the seating areas inside are cosy.
Read moreThe vegan Tataror is delicious—if you expect it to be rich in garlic you will be disappointed though.
There is a vegan sausage too, with delicious tofu-based mayo.
I had a broccoli curry, which was a bit watery.
They sold me extra bread even though the dish came with bread, which I disliked a bit...
Pros: Choice of dishes , Cosyness of the place
Cons: Curry too watery

Good fresh vegan food to takeaway - Edit
This place is very popular with locals so it's quit difficult to eat in but ideal for takeaway. Lots of choice of gluten-free cookies and original banitsa. Well cooked and unique flavor.

Cute Cafe, Good Food - Edit
A very cosy spot both inside and outside seating and daily menu options. The food was really delicious and the staff was very sweet. We run into a concert with folk tunes in the evening and found many flyers to cool events, so they seem like supporting good cultural events as a good bonus.

I had the apple strudel and hot coco with oat milk, bit pricey but it was good. 3 stars because they still serve a lot of things with eggs and dairy.

Loved it! - Edit
This place was heaving with locals and we were lucky to get a table. Despite the friendly chaos the staff were kind enough to help with suggestions, explaining what things were and even what food traditionally went together. I love this kind of eating experience especially when it’s locally inspired and I try new and tasty things such as my new favourite breakfast drink “bozza”… I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town

Okay vegan food - Edit
I came here for dinner and I'll be honest it wasn't my favorite.. maybe other things on the menu would be better and the baked goods in their window looked good but I just didn't enjoy my dinner that much. I got the vegan lukanska sausage and a pizza and neither really hit the spot, the sausage made of beets, sundried tomatoes and sunflower seeds sounded really good but I didn't love it. Would be willing to give this place another shot but just didn't bother while I was in Sofia. I also got a protein smoothies but it was kinda warm and really thin so it was kinda like a chocolate milk.

Fantastic Veggie Cafe - Edit
We stopped here for the vegan banitza and lemonade/iced tea on our first day in Sofia and really enjoyed it. Both the mushroom and lentil banitzas were delicious and their hibiscus iced tea was fantastic. Super nice outdoor seating too. We saw their large menu and decided to return the next day for lunch and we were not disappointed! They veganized many traditional Bulgarian dishes and everything we had was delicious. Prices were very reasonable (maybe a little expensive for Sofia but we thought it was very reasonable given the quality of the food). I would definitely recommend to any vegetarian/vegan visiting Sofia!

Only alright - Edit
The food is alright, their strengths are definitely the baked goods. The bread is really awesome and it's a nice touch that they have vegan banitsa.
Read moreThe staff are lovely but seem a bit all over the place. Unfortunately we were served a pizza with cow's cheese which really ruined the mood for me.
The ambience is nice but it gets quite busy on the weekends.
Edit:
After having been here around 20 times now, I can say that the food is still just ok, it’s such a shame that a lot of the dishes contain animal products, as I don’t appreciate having to ask to veganise a dish (which they are happy to do for you - at least).
I also feel like their food remains quite unimaginative and their menu hasn’t really changed during the last few years.
