Great food, something a little different from a usual thali, and the staff members went out of their way to make sure we didn’t get any dairy. The price is good too.
Bland and watery, but unlimited at weekends - Edit
Really disappointed - the daal (usually my go-to dish) was so thin and watery. There was nothing on my plate that made me think, “I really want to eat more of that”. For me, there was no depth to the flavour or texture of any of the curry dishes.
I had the Gujarati thali and tried some of the Rajistani thali dishes too. We went at the weekend when it’s unlimited, but for us personally being constantly asked whether we wanted more by so many different waiting staff felt a bit stressful. They’re being very attentive, friendly and doing their job - it just wasn’t for us.
They offer Thali from different Indian regions and they can easily prepare a vegan Thali, too. No long explanations needed 😉
You can ask for more when you like something on particular, so make sure to come hungry.
It's close to the metro and easy to reach in this busy part of New Delhi.
We ate here and they offered to modify any of the Thali combos on the menu to make them 100% vegan. The meal was incredibly delicious. They will refill your plate for the Thalis as much as you like so come hungry. A tad pricey but worth it for a pleasant and easy dining experience.
