Delightful oasis with beautiful vegan options

This restaurant at the Swasti Eco Cottages is in a beautiful garden setting at the end of a tastefully lit, vine-covered path that takes you away from the busy street. The vegan eggplant “lasagne” was nicely flavored with toasted flaked almonds, sundried tomatoes and caramelized onions. The vegan passionfruit “cheese” cake was very tasty and served with fresh passionfruit and strawberries. The restaurant also has a nice selection of healthy juices and smoothies. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Pros: Good food, Friendly staff, Beautiful setting

Avoid it after celebrations

1 day after new year celebrations, they could not serve like 90% of the menu. But they wait for you to be seated, have ordered drinks, then when they take order they start saying: we have ni more of this dish tonight... then all the other vegan dishes as well when you ask. At last, asking for some sandwich without MrJack ingredient (all gone by the eve), they came back saying: no more avocado, no more guacamole, but pesto instead.
They forgot to serve the ice cream, and the French fries were cold.
If they can't serve 90% of their menu, it should be written outside the premises, not told when you have already drunk your first glass.

Pros: sweet potatoes fries, nice environment, trees, seats

Cons: cold French fries , you can see people using the toilets from the rest

Amazing eco “almost” vegan restaurant

We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at the Swasti Eco Cottage and enjoying their ample vegan options as well as their “ all you can eat VEGAN buffet” Sunday afternoons. I would say the menu is 90% Veg 80% vegan less than 10% fish. The view is beautiful of the salt water pool and the gardens where they grow a lot of the food is spectacular.

Pros: Ample vegan items on menu, Eco plating napkins , Cats roaming

Cons: Not 100% vegan

Excellent

Beautiful environment with all good very clearly labelled. Veg is organic and grown in the garden themselves. Good breakfast offer for 75K (87K after tax). Highly recommend!

Lovely hidden spot

Tucked away in the Swasti Ecovillage, this peaceful restaurant has some great vegan Balinese food. I came one day for the morning tapas set which was a good deal with two plates and a drink for IDR75k. I returned for the weekend vegan buffet which was also a good deal at IDR100k for all you can eat. The restaurant is well off the street and when they're not making juices, it's very peaceful, although you hear the goats sometimes 😂

Lovely place to enjoy ☺️

Outdoor seating in the beautiful garden area. Entry is through the narrow passion vine tunnel that eventually opens up to a magical garden. The food is ultra amazing, and I felt like I was getting real Balinese food 🥰 this food makes my body feel super nourished ☺️

Fancy zen

Lovely place with organic garden and goats. The food was delicious, well balanced taste, but kinda small portion. Healthy for sure tho.
We ordered the special of the day which was supposed to cost 50k, but somehow at the end we had to pay 75k.

Heaven!

EXTENSIVE vegan options. All fresh, most ingredients grown in the gardens, atypical and just wonderful. Sweet staff, harmonious grounds, a piece of paradise. Plus…there’s cats!!

Pros: Many vegan options, Super ethical , A centre for finding out about other events

Herbal heaven (would give 5 stars if could)

So many herbal medicine dishes and teas. Couldn’t recommend more for the swasti morning tapas set, you can get 2 small meals, 1 fresh well designed medicinal herbal juice and a hot tea, coffee or latte. Would recommend the fresh garden tea (it has mint, ginger, turmeric and some other very yummy goodies).

Pros: Well thought out medicinal menu , On grounds garden where food comes from

Cons: Eggs/dairy in coffee, though alternative options.

So cute, forest vibez 🐝🐞🐛

Food was delish!! Some items aren't vegan but if they have the little icon next to it then they will make it vegan for you! I think it's reasonably priced, most meals are around £4. It's in a little garden and if you're lucky you'll meet their cats, the baby one likes to say hello and sit on your lap 😭 deffo recommend!!

Pros: So many vegan options, Reasonably priced, Amazing ethereal and cosy atmosphere

Cons: They add a 20% surcharge

Awesome place with many vegan options

I tried this place after seeing it on happy cow.
I don't know why the restaurant has so less reviews because it has many vegan options.
The food is good (bit expensive) but it's so nice. It's a perfect place for relaxing and having a great time.

Ordered vegan, got non-vegan

We were 5 people, otherwise the restaurant was empty. Drinks and food took more than an hour. I ordered the burger, which was vegan on the menu, I also said I want a vegan burger when ordering, but it came with non-vegan cheese which I only realized after the first bite (never even thought of something like that in a such a highly prized restaurant, double checked also in the menu, no cheese listed just an option to make it vegetarian). A no-go to me! So please be careful!

Hidden oasis

This place has it all- many delicious vegan options, the kindest service and the setting is so lush and so special. Take a stroll after your meal around their gardens and to see their goats. Lovely and serene.

Best in Bali

Waaaaaow this place is AMAZING!!
Hidden away from the Main Street of Ubud, you’ll find this gorgeous, beautiful, calm place.
The resort that the restaurant is in has their own garden with all kinds of animal and vegetables.
The food here was amazing! We got different salads, a pizza and a burger. All vegan and all so good.
Can’t get why this place doesn’t have any reviews jet.

Pros: Atmosphere is amazing , They also have a small store , Zero waste as far as possible

Cons: Non
