SO MANY vegan and vegetarian options! I've tried the pura vida tacos, madre tierra tacos, the sweet potato with black beans quesadilla and the eggplant with red bell peppers quesadilla. The food is great and this is also a really good brunch spot!

My husband and I live nearby this restaurant and it’s becoming our usual brunch spot. I’m vegan and he’s a meat and dairy eater so we can both get something we love. My go-to is the Vegan Dream (chick pea scramble) on brunch days, but I’ve tried a few of their tacos as well and I’m never disappointed. Also $3 mimosas during brunch😄

Visited with an omnivore and we were both happy with what we got. Service was super friendly and the black bean/sweet potato quesadillas were quite tasty. Love the labeled menu with clear vegan options.

We’ve tried all four vegan tacos and the vegan quesadilla made with black beans and sweet potatoes. Everything was delicious. My fav taco was the Rico Ocho but all are good. Really enjoyed the quesadilla and it was very filling. Could easily be 2 meals.

The tacos could use more flavor/kick. On the flip side, the roasted jalapeño salsa that accompanied the chips appetizer was spicy in the best way.
The margarita was better than I expected from this cafeteria-style restaurant. They serve Stubborn fountain sodas (yum!) and delicious ice tea.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Value, Great beverage selection

There are so many vegan options here and everything is my favorite. I eat a lot, apparently (my friends call me a termite) and I always leave this place feeling satisfied but not guilty. Except when I have a few too many refills of their sodas.

So there is nothing specifically vegan on the menu but you can easily veganize the veggie tacos with the help of the knowledgeable workers! I got the rico ocho without cheese or sour cream and it was SOO good. Way better that tacos for life's vegan "magic tofu" taco.

My husband and I have been going here since they opened. The vegan options have changed some over the years but I have to say my favorites are the rico ocho and the pura vida. The Pura Vida is so fresh...I love it in the summer. The Rico Ocho is warm and satisfying which for me is perfect for the winter. The place is brightly lit and very clean feeling. The value is good we think because I'm always too full to finish. A very good meal. Oh yes, the owner is often there and he is so sweet. You'll catch him out cleaning tables. I'd give 5 stars but can't because of happy cow's site star max for meat on menu. oh well

My husband and I found this location on Happy Cow last night and decided to try it out. The food was AMAZING. They have so many vegetarian options that are so easy to veganize! The owner came over and helped us veganize our meal. We had the Rico Ocho taco, the Latina and Azteca tostada. They were so delicious. We will be eating here again, often. It was so inexpensive, the service was so fast and nice, and the food was great.
