I’m actually mad I can’t give this place 5 stars. It deserves 10 out of 5. The mole tamale, coffee and agua fresca are some of the best things I’ve tasted.

Healthier Vegan Tamales - Edit
Beautiful location in the Juarez colonia (neighborhood) of CDMX. There were two available vegan options, molé w/banana and frijoles (beans). I ordered three, two frijoles and one of molé. I ate one frijol tamale in the outdoor seating area of the location, it was good and tasted healthier than other tamales I have had - IMO it could have used more seasoning or perhaps salt. Again, that’s my opinion.
Read moreClean setup and when you enter to the kitchen, it’s well maintained and clean. Personnel were also kind and accommodating. I would go back if they extended their menu to include more vegan options and of course for the location.
Pros: Beautiful outdoor seating area, Clean and well maintained w/vegan options, Friendly personnel
Cons: Could be more flavorful IMO (in my opinion)
