Ça a le goût de poulet- ça donne presque la même goût que du KFC! Un peu cher, mais c'est la peine pour du 'junk' vegan- tellement c'est pas facile a trouver. J'ai gouté le burger épicé et c'était bon- les 'wings' un peu moins.

We were lucky to grab a table as there’s only a couple available.
Amazing texture, super friendly service and it’s popular there’s always a massive queue of people out of the door!
Loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Once you try a burger from here, it’s hard for another vegan burger to compare. By far the best vegan “chicken” I’ve ever experienced. A bit like, “I can’t believe it’s not butter”, but instead, “I can’t believe it’s not chicken”.

Had the temple spicy burger and it was massive and messy. There was a bit too much sauce to my liking which made it very hard to eat and made the bun and the fried seitan soggy.
Read moreHad the burger as part of the meal deal with regular chips and a drink for £8. Good value at this as the portion is huge. If there is 2 of you I suggest not to get 2 meal deals.
Also after having been here before and enjoying the burger more, I would suggest getting the regular temple burger (or ask them to put less sauce on the spicy one) or a portion of 4 wings. I had them previously and they were amazing, though perhaps a little salty for some.

This was my first experience of seitan and I loved it so much! I tried both their popcorn chicken, chicken burger and macaroni cheese - all were super yummy. Their popcorn chicken is to die for. Next time I’d skip the burger and get the mac n cheese and popcorn chicken. Nom.

Only two tables outside on those were sticky to a touch. Seitan itself was soggy from the outside with disappointing texture inside and lack of flavour. Also spicy burger wasn't spicy at all and it comes from a person who can't handle spicy food. Had huge expectations, unfortunately left disappointed.

As a man with a huge appetite I really appreciate getting what I pay for when I eat out, and when it comes to the temple there are no exceptions! The first time I ate there I ordered everything from the menu to try it all, and to my surprise could not finish it all! The food really reminded me of eating fast food at the end of a night out at 2am after one too many drinks, but all vegan so although I felt stuffed, my stomach didn’t feel awful like how I used to feel after eating meaty fast food years ago!

I have visited a number of times and I have never been disappointed. The portions are huge. Do not miss out on their mac n cheese - it is excellent. Just a shame it is not a bigger establishment and you could sit down! (There is very limited outside seating)
