loved the idea of an allergen free greek restaurant, didn’t love the execution. feta and tzatziki had a very clear coconutty flavour and the gluten free bread took some of the charm of the mezedes. however, said mezedes were LOVELY and so was the service !!!

Hat nicht unsere Erwartungen getroffen - Edit
Wir hatten die Tapas-Platte für zwei Personen bestellt und waren etwas enttäuscht. Nur die Hälfte der Dips hat uns geschmeckt und das Brot war auch nur okay. Viele klassische griechische Gerichte sucht man vergeblich - das ist der absolut Allergene-freien Küche geschuldet, was natürlich für Allergiker sehr interessant ist. Für uns war’s leider nichts.

Wonderful vegan pizza, pasta, tiramisu - Edit
The Crazy Little Italian is the other half of The Crazy Little Greek. Everything is 100% vegan and gluten-free. I had the Puttanesca Flirt pasta, and my friend had the Crazy Veggie Love pizza, and we both had the heavenly Tiramisu. All fabulous. The service was really friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating on a nice street.

Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt leider für mich nicht - Edit
Ich war heute mit meinem Partner im Crazy Little Greek. Ich hatte als Vorspeise Ofenkartoffel mit Tsaziki und dann den griechischen Salat, mein Partner hatte das Moussaka.
Read moreBei der Ofenkartoffel war ich sehr enttäuscht von der Portionsgröße, das war keine Ofenkartoffel, sondern lediglich ein paar Kartoffelscheiben mit Tsaziki. Der Tsaziki war aber lecker. Der Salat war in Ordnung.
Das Moussaka kam lauwarm und war so trotzdem so zerbacken, dass das Gemüse undefinierbar war.
Insgesamt waren wir sehr enttäuscht, es war eben nur ok und dafür deutlich zu teuer. Sehr schade 😕

Interesting, completely allergen-free restaurant - Edit
Had the moussaka and liked it except for the cheese. Talked with the owner about it and he told me that’s the best cheese he has available since his whole restaurant has no dishes with any allergens whatsoever. Didn’t realize this before and was impressed then. This made it so much more interesting. E.g. the joghurt dip for the potatoes (that I really liked) is coconut-based but they have to add a lot of herbs to "cover" the coconut taste. Still, the cheese unfortunately made the moussaka way worse 😅
Read moreOne major downside is the payment system. I had to pay some transaction fees with my Swiss card (a bit more than 1 Euro). Even though I could still choose to pay in EUR or CHF but it did not matter. I’ve never ever had that anywhere else.

Griechisches Ambiente in Mitten Berlins - Edit
Wir sind ohne Reservierung hin, im Außenbereich war schon alles voll, die Stimmung super. Der Besitzer, ein sympathischer Grieche, bereitete uns einen süßen kleinen Tisch im oberen Stock vor. Dort saßen wir ganz für uns, mit Blick auf das Geschehen unterhalb.
Read moreFür die romantischen Atmosphäre wurde das Licht gedimmt und die Musik, passend zum Essen, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Eine Atmosphäre die sich mehr nach Urlaub im Süden, als Berlin-Trip anfühlte :-). Vielleicht auch aufgrund der 40 Grad draußen xD.
Die Getränke kamen rasch und die Platte für zwei folgte alsbald. Nachschub vom Brot für die schmackhaften Tapas kam, sobald wir die Schüssel wieder leer gefuttert hatten. Darin auch unsere einzige Kritik: Die Scheiben könnten größer sein ;-).
Zum Abschluss gab es ein süßes Tasting aufs Haus und zum Verdauen kalten Ouzo, der uns ermöglichte nach unserer Völlerei wieder laufen zu können. :D
Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, stets zur Stelle und wir haben uns gut mit Niko unterhalten, der uns sogar noch sein neues italienisches Restaurant nebenan gezeigt hat.
Alles in Allem, ein Erlebnis das wir nicht missen wollen. Beim nächsten Berlin-Besuch kommen wir wieder! < 3

Mein Mann hatte Moussaka und war sehr begeistert. Ich fand diese sehr schwer und fettig, aber insgesamt authentisch. Ich hatte "Der Thanatos", für eine Bowl fand ich sehr viel Reis und wenig Gurke/Tomate. Der hier schon genannten Kritikpunkt, dass Kokosjogurt nicht ganz passt sehr ich ähnlich, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Empfehlen würde ich den Greek Frappe, war mal was anderes an Kaffeegetränken. Ich fands insgesamt gut, würde jetzt persönlich aber nicht unbedingt wieder kommen.

Spicy and overpriced - Edit
Unfortunately, the food is quite expensive but then so spicy that for me it was not eatable (Thanatos). The Moussaka was as well very spicy which I never experienced in Greece. The potatoes were very tasty but the using coconut yoghurt for the tzaziki put me completely off and makes it very heavy.
Read more2 Stars for the Fava dip we had as a starter, the beetroot one lacked taste and the bread was just oily and difficult to eat as it was cut in small pieces but you couldn’t pick it up with a fork.
We got a free dessert to make up for the spice and this one was the highlight of our stay, it was the Ravani.

Kulinarische Hommage an Hedone - Edit
Diese Gerichte (alles vegan) sind eine kulinarische Hommage an Hedone. Es war absolut spitze. Kleines, aber feines Restaurant mit Sitzplätzen auch im Freien. Man fühlt sich direkt auf einer griechischen Insel. Verschiedene griechische Weine werden vom Inhaber persönlich erklärt und verkostet. Ganz nette Bedienung. Kostenpflichtige Parkplätze am Straßenrand sind leider oft besetzt.

My wife and I thought we didn’t like Greek food until we discovered The Crazy Little Greek. It is a lovely small restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. The moussaka was so delicious that, if we hadn’t been in a rush, we would have ordered another one.

Die Bedienung hätte etwas aufmerksamer sein können (es war viel los und er schien ein wenig über überfordert)
Dennoch hatten wir einen schönen Abend und die Atmosphäre war sehr gemütlich, fast wie auf einer Taverne in Griechenland🇬🇷🤗
Die Auswahl ist klein, was ich sehr gut finde.
Wir hatten die gefüllten Kohlrouladen und gefüllte Paprika „Gemista“ und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Kartoffeln und das Zaziki waren ebenfalls sehr lecker

Read moreThe Greek herbal tea was honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. We ordered stuffed grape leaves, roasted potatoes with vegan yogurt, a fresh salad, tomato dishes loaded with herbs and olive oil, and a ravani dessert with cinnamon and nuts that tasted homemade.
I also appreciated that the food focused on real ingredients instead of heavy meat substitutes. It felt simple, fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made.

I love greek food and was very excited to eat here, but unfortunately the food was only average. Nothing stood out except the dessert (Ravani). For the taste/quality the price is definitely too high!
