I really liked the idea of vegan Greek food. Unfortunately, in reality it was not as authentic as it could have been. Dishes are quit expensive for the quality.

Es ist sehr angenehm zu merken, dass Nikolaos sein Restaurant mit Herz betreibt und locker im Umgang mit allen ist. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und empfehlen gern den verrückten Griechen.

Kulinarische Hommage an Hedone - Edit
Diese Gerichte (alles vegan) sind eine kulinarische Hommage an Hedone. Es war absolut spitze. Kleines, aber feines Restaurant mit Sitzplätzen auch im Freien. Man fühlt sich direkt auf einer griechischen Insel. Verschiedene griechische Weine werden vom Inhaber persönlich erklärt und verkostet. Ganz nette Bedienung. Kostenpflichtige Parkplätze am Straßenrand sind leider oft besetzt.

My wife and I thought we didn’t like Greek food until we discovered The Crazy Little Greek. It is a lovely small restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. The moussaka was so delicious that, if we hadn’t been in a rush, we would have ordered another one.

Ich komme aus Griechenland und kann sagen, dass das Essen hervorragend und sehr authentisch war.

Die Bedienung hätte etwas aufmerksamer sein können (es war viel los und er schien ein wenig über überfordert)
Dennoch hatten wir einen schönen Abend und die Atmosphäre war sehr gemütlich, fast wie auf einer Taverne in Griechenland🇬🇷🤗
Die Auswahl ist klein, was ich sehr gut finde.
Wir hatten die gefüllten Kohlrouladen und gefüllte Paprika „Gemista“ und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Kartoffeln und das Zaziki waren ebenfalls sehr lecker

Read moreThe Greek herbal tea was honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. We ordered stuffed grape leaves, roasted potatoes with vegan yogurt, a fresh salad, tomato dishes loaded with herbs and olive oil, and a ravani dessert with cinnamon and nuts that tasted homemade.
I also appreciated that the food focused on real ingredients instead of heavy meat substitutes. It felt simple, fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made.

I love greek food and was very excited to eat here, but unfortunately the food was only average. Nothing stood out except the dessert (Ravani). For the taste/quality the price is definitely too high!

We had the sharing dips for starters which were decent (the dips themselves were nice, but the bread that came with it was dry), but none of us were impressed by our main courses, which we all found to be quite bland and underseasoned.

We chose the bowls and even though this specific night they were out of potatoes (we got replacements!) it was still soooo delicious.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Das beste Moussaka das ich je gegessen habe. Die Vorspeisen-Teller für zwei Personen war sehr beeindruckend! Und hat alles sehr geschmeckt. And the potato wedges that came with it were straight up black. We weren't sure whether thats how they are supposed to be or not. After seeing the other pictures on Happy Cow... I guess we just got unlucky?
We had a great server and even though the food was "meh", I think I would come here again for some gigantes and grilled peppers. The menu is just too interesting to me!

I went to The Crazy Little Greek with my family and we all had an absolutely lovely time. Staff was really, really friendly and welcoming. I had the moussaka, which was incredibly tasty, gluten-free and perfectly satisfying without feeling too heavy.

It is quite pricey, which is understandable given the quality, but overall it’s a fantastic spot for a special meal with family or friends. Highly recommended!

We tried three of their dips as starters and had moussaka and cabbage rolls as main dishes. The dips were very good, especially the spicy vegan feta dip was a positive surprise even though we're usually not big fans of coconut based vegan cheese. However the main dishes were not the best. The service was super friendly and the portions were big, we had to ask a box for the leftovers.

This fully vegan and gluten free restaurant is in a central location near Hackescher Markt. We had a group reservation and basically took over half of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly, but seemingly a little overwhelmed, which showed up in long waiting times.

We were offered free dessert to share and that was also tasty. The espresso I ordered sadly never showed up.
I was really looking forward to a vegan Greek restaurant, as I think that is a gap in the market in Berlin, but didn’t find what I was hoping for here.

Read moreMoussaka ist ein Auflauf und wer nicht weiß wie ein Auflauf funktioniert, hat wenig Ahnung – und vielleicht ein bisschen Neid. Denn wer zu Hause selbst kocht, aber anscheinend immer alleine isst, hat vermutlich einfach vergessen, wie sich echte Gastfreundschaft und Genuss unter Menschen anfühlen.
Und was den Vorwurf der Unhöflichkeit betrifft: Wir bevorzugen klare Worte statt aufgesetztem Lächeln – das ist nicht jedermanns Geschmack, aber wenigstens ehrlich.
Wir wünschen Ihnen viel Erfolg bei Ihrer nächsten Solo-Kochsession – und vielleicht auch mal einen echten Moussaka zum Vergleich.
