Nice location next to the river, food was ok, but unfortunately got it wrong the first time (eggs) - Edit
The place is super busy in the evening and it is amazing how they can handle so many customers in such a space with moderate waiting times.
Read moreI had a fried rice, which was quite oily, and despite explicitly asking for no egg during the order, it came with eggs the first time so they got me another one. I would have hoped to see some tofu in there, too, something which other non-vegan restaurants in Bangkok did when "veganizing" dishes for us.
Also, the waiter seemed to have mixed up several tables as he constantly tried bringing us the food which the two tables next to us had ordered.

Good food next to the canal - Edit
Right on the canal in a pedestrian street, pretty calm and the waiters are highly motivated. Food is really good (I suspect MSG, Haha). Good portions for the price!

1 nice dish, 1 bad - Edit
My partner had a spicy penang curry with tofu & jasmine rice which he really enjoyed. I had the pad Thai with veggies and tofu and it was really bad. It was really sweet and tasted like coleslaw which was odd. I also asked for no onions which the waitress confirmed, but when it came there was onion. They did offer to make me a new dish when they saw I hadn’t eaten much, but I felt bad and declined. The spring rolls were quite nice.

Amazing food and cute bunny ears - Edit
The food is delicious and the price is fine as well. A main dish costs 100 bath. The waiters are all wearing funny fluffy animal ears and are extremely friendly. They even put mosquito spray on the tables so that one can enjoy the seating at the river. It’s a vibe.

Still the best! - Edit
I have been so happy to hear that they’re back open
Read moreI tried to go during lockdown and I thought they were closed for good but thankfully open again
Great quality and they extended their outside seating area
Now it’s only outside since the house is like a living room inside
Loved my Panang curry! I ordered with tofu no rice. Could have had more tofu- only a few cubes
Price is now 90thb for every dish and they don’t serve papaya salad anymore
Vegan clearly marked. Great taste
Note - If you want rice you have to order separately
Good rock salt, chili powder and mosquito spray as well
Love this - will come back for sure
Pros: Panang curry , Best taste , Lovely seating along River
Cons: Corn in curry does not fit , with peanuts by default - allergy caution!

Food and service were perfect - Edit
Vegan green curry and the spring rolls were so good. Especially the green curry, I’m speechless. They cooked it like what my mom did. If you are looking for a real Thai food, you better try The Family. Take into your account that food will take long time to prepare due to many customers. I guess because they serve inexpensive but tasty dishes. Plus the owner and staffs were so nice

Amazing food, huge portions & strong cocktails - Edit
Anything on the menu can be made vegan. So many options and each arrives in a huge bowl. Only con is the long wait for food because it’s always so busy but the cocktails are each 3-4 drinks worth of alcohol and get you excited to eat.

Come here for the atmosphere and food - Edit
We were actually on our way to go someplace else, but stumbled onto this wonderful place. The staff was super friendly, they have adorable cats that you can play with, and the food was great. Almost all of their dishes can be made vegetarian and/vegan friendly, and it’s super reasonably priced. Be prepared if you ask for spicy food...it will be Thai level spicy (which is a welcome thing here for me). I can’t stress enough that the atmosphere was fantastic!

Tasty and tourist friendly - Edit
This couple opened up a delight of a place. BE WARNED - they can fill up and they do take reservations online! Something to consider. The cats in the area are theirs and friendly. Food is good, ample and filling. Drinks are affordable for Thailand and you get HUGE portions (like served in a coconut portions). Overall, would come back here. They are able to Vegan-ize your options (no egg, no fish sauce, add veggies).

This is a five star! - Edit
The food is amazing, good portion size on the massaman curry, like half liter of mojito when you order that (wish it was a bit stronger in flavor though. They gave me the wrong one at first, and that tasted better). Does get crowded at evening and sometimes can take up to 1,5 hours to get food. But its worth it! The cats are a great bonus too.

Great food and atmosphere - Edit
This place is perfect for a dinner date or a family meal (as the name would suggest). Beautifully presented Thai dishes with a nice riverside setting. Prices were also super reasonable. We had a yellow curry, a noodle dish, 2 drinks, and mango sticky rice for 290 baht. Service is also excellent. All of the ladies who served us were friendly and also well informed about veganism. The food is maybe more suited to a western palette, my only criticism is that I didn’t find the curry spicy at all, even after adding chilli flakes myself. But it was still delicious, both dishes had a variety of fresh vegetables (including fresh peas), and the mango sticky rice was incredible.
