Chips & Mushy Peas - Edit
The people working were absolutely delightful - sadly they only really have one vegan option other than chips & mushy peas, which is vegan haggis but it had run out. At least 2 other people came in and asked for it so its obviously popular.
Read moreThe only chippy in Oban that even caters to vegans. They all have veggie menus but cook in beef dripping.
Pros: Only chippy catering for vegans in oban

Best fish and chip shop in Scotland - Edit
This place deserves all the excellent reviews. It's the best chip shop I have found since moving to Scotland three years ago. Proper mushy peas - marrowfat made by the shop. I didn't try the vegan haggis but it was on the menu.

Chips! - Edit
Alright for some chips, not the best chips ever though. They advertise vegan haggis but didn’t have any when I was there.

No vegan haggis - Edit
After reading the reviews on here we were so excited to have a haggis supper..turned up and the staff were friendly enough but got told there's no vegan haggis left.

Curry sauce and mushy peas - Edit
I put the curry sauce in the mushy peas and that was surprisingly good! Glad everyone else loved the vegan haggis, I found it dull but at least filling.

Vegan haggis - Edit
I was surprised how much I liked the vegan haggis! It does not look very appealing but it is a very comfy meal. The chips were also amazing. A great place if you are travelling with someone who wants to eat fish & chips and you want more than just „plain“ chips.

Vegan haggis! - Edit
Popped in for lunch. The vegan haggis was excellent & is a definite must try. The accompanying chips were also good. It's quite a bit cheaper to takeaway than to eat in, so grabbing a carry out & heading to the waterfront may be a good call on a sunny day!

Your best option in Oban - Edit
The vegan haggis was a great surprise, very rich and flavourful. The chips and mushy peas were good as well, for chippy's standards.

Decent emergency tea option - Edit
We had the vegan haggis and chip supper here tonight. Haggis was very tasty and plenty of protein in and the chips were really good. We were struggling to find somewhere to eat as we had our dog with us and no reservations so this place was a bit of a life saver!

No Vegan Haggis! - Edit
Chips and a gherkin was my go to evening meal while here! Two disasters on my second night; no vegan haggis and dropped my gherkin on the seafront. I expect there’s a very happy vegan seagull somewhere! Only joking, I binned it at the first opportunity.

Vegan Haggis 😍 - Edit
Quick pitstop in Oban so risked a chippy with zero reviews. Was pleasantly surprised to find a couple of vegan options including a vegan burger and homemade vegan haggis. Haggis contained grains, pumpkin seeds and a mix of beans. Nicely seasoned so very tasty. Eat in or out.
