A Fantastic Vegan Find in Bruges! - Edit
I just had the pleasure of trying The Olive Street Food in Bruges, and I was thoroughly impressed, especially with their vegan offerings! It's always a treat to find delicious plant-based options when traveling, and The Olive truly delivered.

Beyond the taste, I found the overall value for money to be excellent. You get a substantial and delicious meal without breaking the bank.

only 2 vegan options in either a pitta or a box (veggie burgers or grilled veggies) and we went for the patty version for only €1.50 more. it was filled with the patty, coleslaw, veggies like onion, lettuce and tomato, fries and some tasty sauce. quick and friendly service and at a decent price. the pitta was filling and warming, quelling our lunchtime hangry-ness just in time. we went here as the veggies/vegan restaurants of bruges are closed monday/tuesdays so if you’re stuck like we were for options it’s a good shout. would love to see some different vegan options though.

It was super delicious and for that there was a lot going on, it went super fast. You get a large pita with fries and fried vegetables or as an alternative vegan Bifteki. The pitas are perfectly fine for the price.

Read moreUnlike most places in Belgium, the fries are not cooked in animal fat. But they’re still the best fries I’ve had!
Eating out in Bruges can be very expensive but this place is a great option if you’re on a budget. There is often a line but it moves quickly.

If they had a branch near my house I would go a lot. Loved the wrap, the bread was fluffy and chewy, the roast veg tasty, chips hot and fresh and the vegan mayo was yum.

The place is very small and usually you find a queue. But it’s definitely worth waiting for the vegan bifteki pita! My respect goes to the staff managing that high demand! I was amazed to see the home made fries.
