Great pizza! - Edit
I stopped by The Pizza Castle last time I was in Vancouver. Everyone was recommending the Onion Ring pizza and to be honest I didn’t think I would like it. I was so wrong and will definitely be back to have this pizza again. I also recommend the pesto artichoke pizza!

Finally a Vegan Garlic Naan! - Edit
Garlic Naan was amazing, thin yet decadent. The Mushroom mattar was superb, perfectly cooked mushrooms, rich gravy and not dripping oil, like it is in most restaurants.
Read moreThe Butter Chicken was extremely creamy, and the mock chicken pieces were really nice. But there wasn't much other flavor to speak of. The owners said we could have customized it to get a spicier version. The Manchurian starter was overly sweet. But the veg balls in it were superb, heavy on the caraway seeds and not at all chewy.

Hit or Miss - Edit
Go for the Indian food. I tried a burger and it was the same price as a whole pizza without a side and very bland. I’ve ordered a few pizzas and they were good, not great but the last one was over cooked and the crust was hard as a rock. I don’t recommend eating at the restaurant because it’s barren and there’s no service. You have to go up to the counter and call out to someone hiding in the back to ask them for anything or try and pay. They’re super nice and when you get a good order it’s worth it but the Indian food is definitely what to order here.

Fun to try - Edit
The onion ring pizza is of course a must-try, and I love that you can get samosas or pizzas by the slice. But it’s not the best vegan pizza in town - the crust isn’t the best. So fun novelty place to try but not somewhere I frequent.

I brought most of it back on the ferry with me to Nanaimo because we don’t have vegan Indian food here. It was fabulous, I took it to work and several people walking through our department on my two lunch breaks remarked on how amazing it smelled.
Will definitely be getting another feast here in the future to bring home when I’m travelling on the ferry,
As another reviewer mentioned it is heavy food, I added frozen peas and Happy Veggie World shrimp balls and white rice to stretch the meals, and paired with fruit to make it lighter for work eating.
Pros: Taste - very full flavour, Price

Decent place. - Edit
We'd probably come by here more often if it wasn't so far away from us. I love the fact they used to be non-vegan and then fully converted to vegan.

Confusing - Edit
This place does a terrible job of selling its food. It's exclusively counter service with a few tables inside, but on most of the few occasions I've gone in, there was no one behind the counter, they're usually hiding in the back.
Read moreThere's a glass case that sometimes contains pizzas and sometimes doesn't. Sometimes there might be some samosas in there. Nothing is labeled so you'll need to ask what the ingredients are which is often a difficult process because of the plexiglass screens. There's a sort of menu on the wall above the counter that mentions burgers and some other items (not pizza or curry) with no descriptions and no prices.
I'd love to know what kind of curries are available. If only they would tell us.
Pros: Good pizza when it's available
Cons: No proper menu, no ingredients listed, no prices, Confusing customer experience, Disinterested staff

good late night pizza - Edit
I totally love an all vegan restaurant where I can get anything on the menu, and appreciate that this place exists in a great location and is open long hours. I ordered the sausage pizza with pesto instead of marinara and the poutine. We ate in and maybe that isn't something people usually do there since covid, but our alternative would be to eat in our car. Anyway, although they weren't rude or anything, they didn't show much hospitality and we were still served our pizza in the box and there were no condiments or water to be seen. I really could have used some hot sauce, too, because the pizza was super bland. I would recommend going to Vegan Pizza House in Surrey instead for some flavorful pizza and friendly staff.

The chili cauliflower, amazing! After having that I had high expectations for the pizza, it was fully loaded, looked great, but was kind of bland. A little seasoning in the dough could make a big difference!

Vegan pizza by the slice - Edit
Popped in for a light lunch and went for a slice of pizza each - Butter chicken, Meat and potato and Onion ring. All were tasty but the Onion ring came out the winner. Service was friendly and pizza price seemed reasonable. Will come back another time to try their mains!

Stomach Pain afterwards - Edit
I went here and tried their butter chicken, because I got it recommended. The dish came with Naan. Unfortunately it wasn't good. I was super hungry so I ate it but I had really bad stomach pain and Bloating afterwards. Also it did not have any veg only weird "chicken" the colour also seemed quite off. Idk - the Pizza I tried was also not very good.

Hole in the wall good food - Edit
After being severely annoyed I couldn’t get seating at a nearby vegan Vietnamese restaurant, I found this place because I was hungry and couldn’t wait. Don’t let the appearance fool you- it’s not much to look at but the food is quite good. They have a limited menu of vegan burgers and pizza but the real star are the curry dishes. The butter chicken curry dish was excellent and the portions are large.
Read moreThe samosas were bland and inedible. Just greasy and tasteless. Also- the drink selection was horrible! Why do restaurants only offer kombucha and sodas? I had to walk to a nearby supermarket to buy a beverage.
Also, I asked for water and they had several plastic jugs sitting around to fill over used plastic cups that didn’t look washed. I don’t support purchasing bottled water but make an effort here folks. Have a cooler or large sealed container to dispense tap water if you don’t have a faucet nearby

Pros: Good curry
Cons: I HATE kombucha! Offer more than this vile drink, Terrible decor and not great for dining in, Bad samosa
