Fast, easy burritos or wraps

My kids have always loved this place. They have a decent tofu burrito but my favorite is the squash and corn. Order without sour cream and cheese to make it vegan, but I like to add guacamole. Salads and soups are also good. They prepare your order quickly, even when busy.

Good portions and quick

My local go to burrito place. They offer a tofu burrito with beans and tomatoes. You can opt out of the cheese and get some guac instead (although extra $ for the guac). Tip: Go for a bowel instead of a burrito and the portions are larger. Service is quick and pleasant. Also, try the Green Machine juice.

Tasty Burrito!

The burrito was good: I’m glad they offer Tofu as one of their proteins.. would be even better if they offered vegan cheese!

Pros: Good food, Quick to get served

Cons: No vegan cheese

Fresh, fast, and tasty

I live nearby and get take-out from The Purple Cactus frequently (average once a week, sometimes more). They do have seating available if you want to eat there. I describe the menu as California-style-healthy-Mexican. Everything is made fresh daily. They use brown rice, and most items are low fat. There are a number of vegetarian items on the menu, and most can be made vegan by omitting cheese. My go-to options are the veggie taco salad, tofu burrito, and vegetarian chili. You can get a side of brown rice and black beans. They have delicious daily special soups, and they are usually vegan (or can be made so by omitting cheese topping). Orders usually come out quickly, except at peak times, but even then the wait is not long. Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous.

Pros: fresh and healthy, quick service, generous portions

Cons: can be noisy, have to special order to make items vegan, awkwardly crowded at peak times
