Delicious food, okay menu

The red deer is beautifully decorated and the staff are very friendly and well trained. The menu is well labelled, with several vegan options. Unfortunately, I felt the menu could’ve had more vegan protein options.
I had the roast cauliflower, which was very nice, but ultimately was just a bunch of vegetables so the price tag did seem rather high. They also brought it out with a Yorkshire pudding, which turned out to not be vegan. They offered to replace the entire dish when they recognised the mistake, but it’s very lucky I double checked before tucking in!
