They offer sushi that attempts to mimic seafood. It doesn't work. I say this having been fortunate enough to have just such sushi in San Francisco on one occasion. While I wouldn't advise visiting SF, it's useful to know that, yes, you can get vegan sushi that is almost indistinguishable from the onmi variety. This isn't it.

Decent vegan sushi - Edit
There are a lot of rolls to choose from. Everything was tasty but the family thought the flavors were similar from roll to roll. Definitely worth checking out if you have a hankering for sushi.

Fully appreciate the vegan menu - Edit
Fully appreciate the vegan menu but we did not like the taste of our food. We were expecting authentic Japanese sushi and it wasn’t. We also tried the udon and again it was not what we expected.

Best vegan sushi - Edit
We haven't had vegan sushi this good since Montreal! I had almost given up on vegan sushi but this place nailed it! Had the dragon roll, open ocean roll, earth day, and vegan balls.
Read moreThe dragon roll had a slight sweetness to it. I'm remember a more savory flavor with non vegan dragon rolls, but it was amazing!
The open ocean roll almost freaked me out with how realistic the 'tuna' is. So stinking good.
The balls are just slightly spicey, but not too much to handle for a no-spicey like me. Love them.
Earth day was my personal favorite and loved every.single.bite.
Highly recommend

I ordered for pick up and they charged my credit card sent me an email how to pick up my food. I went to the place (union kitchen) and the people there said there’s no kitchen for that place there…

Everything we had was DELICIOUS! Veggie potstickers were flavorful and satisfying, the tots earned their reputation as Washington’s best, the Tuber Fire Roll was spicy and scrumptious, and the Mock Chicken Szechuan really hit the spot. Can’t wait until the next time we order since the menu is extensive. If the rest is as good as what we just had, we have found our new go-to!
