Beautiful view with good vegan options - Edit
Very nice dining room, and beautiful view of the vineyards if you eat outside and sit on the balcony. The menu is clearly marked with several vegan appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about which items are vegan.

The staff and atmosphere were really nice but it was pricey and the food was just ok. Tried the hummus, meatloaf and lasagna. I appreciate the vegan options though!

I’ve been wanting to go here for years after hearing about how great their vegan offerings are. I was disappointed to learn they no longer have a vegan cheese platter. They do still have a total of 3 vegan items in their menu which are labeled as being vegan and dairy free. However, we ordered the pita (clearly marked as vegan and dairy free) and it ended up having cottage cheese put on it. When we asked about it the server argued with us, saying it was zucchini. Eventually the chef admitted to accidentally putting the cheese in there, and offered us a free dessert as an apology. We got the sorbet, which was very good. The pita was also remade as well which was just alright.

When I called for the reservation, the hostess asked if anyone in my party had dietary needs, saying "anyone vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or other dietary needs?" Once we were at the restaurant, the server never asked again, but she clearly had the information. When she brought the bread basket, she noted, "this is vegan, and this is vegan butter." When my husband ordered the house salad, she spoke up and said that the house dressing is not vegan, but she offered to substitute a lime vinaigrette. We truly felt that she was looking out for us!

Our server was great! Only a couple vegan options available at lunch time on a Sunday. We had to sit in a small downstairs dinning room, because two weddings were scheduled at the same time.

Whenever we visit Farm Sanctuary, we always catch dinner and sometimes breakfast here. Beautiful views of Seneca lake and friendly, helpful staff have made every visit memorably good.

My husband and I went to Penn Yan for our anniversary and some wine tasting. We made a reservation here because I’m vegan and wanted something besides a salad and French fries. When we got there the staff was very friendly and efficient and the view was beautiful. We shared the small vegan cheese platter which was absolutely amazing, highly recommend. And I got jackfruit tacos for my entree and a wine tasting fleet that were several wines, also champagne by the glass. I would love to visit this place again!

Everything on the menu is clearly marked if it's vegetarian or vegan. They have a vegan cheese plate, we didn't try it but heard it's very good. I got the seitan with garlic mashed potatoes and it was amazing! The paired wine was delicious and the view made it a great night (would have been perfect if the whole restaurant was vegan).

The view was spectacular. Inside the restaurant was beautiful. Unfortunately, the service was very slow. The food was so so and too expensive for what you get. The 20 dollar vegan cheese platter was small. They do offer a few vegan options and I believe their wine is all vegan. Much better places in that area to go that are less expensive and have better food.
