Ramen was good! I finished the whole plate! - Edit
Gosh I love vegan ramen. For a shopping centre restaurant I found it really charming. I had a great time people watching at the bus stop out the window. Plus it was warm because of the shopping centre. Good times.

A lot of options - Edit
Always nice to see so many vegan options at non vegan restaurants. We tried tantan ramen with tofu and Yakisoba curry coconut noodles. Both were delicious, also big portions. For ramen you can choose, for us little one was more than enough. They also had poke bowl, sushi, dumplings.

There were a few vegan options which is always nice in a japanese restaurant but I really wanted to eat ramen and only checked this (there were 2 options) so I took a large portion and it was delicious!

An okay place - Edit
I ordered dumplings and ramen. Dumplings were delicious. Ramen was kind of plain, didn’t really have flavours in it.
Read moreAfter eating we waited for the waitress for a good amount of time but I guess we were supposed to pay at the cash desk? Nobody told us that.
There were various vegan options on the menu and the atmosphere was nice.

Great vegan food - Edit
Many vegan options on the menu. Had the Slightly spicy tofu and avocado don and it was good, tofu was very crispy but a bit too salty for my liking. Friendly staff and a good location.

Great vegan snacks and sushi - Edit
Tokumaru has lovely snacks such as Japanese style cauliflower or vegetable gyoza. Also their spicy and non-spicy sushi is great. I really like their vegan curry and vegetable don as well. They have many different teas, lemonades and Japanese alcohol.

Sushi lunch in mall restaurant - Edit
Always many vegan options. This time there was at least 3new vegan dishes added. Crispy cauliflowers we tried they were nice.
Read moreEasy place to go since have many vegan maki rolls to choose from, some with crispy tempura in top. Also noodle soups. This time makis were more like 3stars still good but nothing special. I was still happy with lunch here. Place is chancing more away from the personal service to an order from machine style.
Pros: Tempura in top of sushi
Cons: Too big chunks of mushroom in makis, Some of the makis were too big to eat one bite

Good sushi - Edit
I was lucky to find this place pretty close to my hotel. The food was tasty and it is cozy place. I had a vegan sushi. They didn’t have so many gluten-free options but it is not so uncommon in Estonia.

Can I Get a rAmen - Edit
Located in the Solaris shopping centre, you'd be forgiven for overlooking Tokumaru. But venture up to the second floor of the complex (don't mistake it for the take-out only version on the ground floor) and you will be treated to a sesame based ramen that is worth the flight ticket to Tallinn alone.

Best ramen and sushi - Edit
First day we tried to find this place we accidentally went to the takeaway place on the floor below as they have a bit where you can buy premade food. On our second attempt, we found it and I'm so glad we did. The ramen is delicious and the portions large. It always seems to be busy so I'd suggest maybe booking a table.

Cons: Unclear whether it was table service at first

I loved their sushi, it wasn't just plain maki like in most places. They also had soy milk so I ordered matcha latte as well. Would visit again.

I really love Tokumaru and go there quite often, as it's also perfectly located.

The ramen was a bit salty for my taste, but everything is really full of taste and carefully combined. Tastes like everything is made with quality produce.
Generous portions.
One of my favourite places in Tallinn.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Really good food, Free tapped water
Cons: Close a bit early, Average service

Nice option within the Solaris mall. The vegan tantan ramen and gyozas were super yummy. Would definitely recommend trying it out if the vegan restaurants in the area are too far away.

Five stars! - Edit
We've been here twice and both times everything has been delicious. Don bowls are creamy and full of flavour, although the salad needs a dressing. Gyozas and sushi have been excellent and we like the creative fillings. Ramen is a large portion (even the smaller version.) There are many vegan options and they're clearly labeled. The lunch offer is good, dishes are around 6-7€. It was a bit difficult to find the restaurant for the first time but there's a staircase close to the movie theater that you need to rise.

Truly amazing - Edit
Hands down the best sushi I've ever had. I chose the peanut tofu tempura sushi and it was super delicious. The place also looked nice and well decorated. The sushi was filling and the ginger and wasabi were super nice. In my opinion the food was very reasonably priced (the filling sushi dish I had cost only 8,30€). I bought a little box of peanut mochi from there too and they were delicious aswell.

Fine quality sushi restaurant - Edit
The sushi restaurant stands out from others with it´s fine quality, for example we were given decent chopsticks, not the single-use bamboo ones. Also the ginger we had was not artificially coloured.
Read moreVegan menu was large and food was tasty. Tofu tempura maki had really large amount of crispy tempura. It was a bit too greasy for my taste, but still very good. Shiro ramen soup was delicious and the portion was decent, actually my mate had to help me finish my noodles. A bonus was that for additional 1€ you can have wholegrain ones.
The service is just average, nothing outstanding.
