Serving non vegan food - Edit
We went to eat several times to this restaurant. The feta cheese was very different to all the feta we could find in any supermarket or shop.
Read moreIt has been prove at the end that this feta is not vegan or even vegetarian. ( contain proteins with no clue if animal or vegetal and animal pressure).
The info came from the cheese company itself wich is a dairy company. Thanks for the vegans that made all the research since the owner didn't wanted to give the brand of the cheese.
It has been expose on vegan Facebook group and the answer of the owner was : " a vegan friend told me it was vegan" .
This cheese is served for more than.a year now. Shame on you

a choice of some classic Greek dishes and international ones (like spaghetti bolognese or burger). the portions are absolutely to be taken back home (in my case even more than half!) and the prices are good as well

What a lovely place! The interior is all very old-fashioned, which is really cute. The food was also very tasty and the portions were HUGE, so it was incredible value-for-money. But what blew me away most was the service. absolutely impeccable! I felt very welcomed and cared for and had an amazing visit. My partner and I shared a mixed starter (delicious) and a pasta (really filling, so it could have done with a little side salad or something) and then the chocolate cake. We were both incredibly stuffed (and satisfied) and felt like we left having made some new friends.

When I lived in Athens, Trivoli was one of my favorite places. I used to go there once every two weeks, sometimes even more often. We especially love the owners, the lovely atmosphere and the food! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge! If you ever visit Athens, please make sure to visit Trivoli and perhaps bring a couple of food storage with you, you might need to take some food with you! :)

Read moreThe food was so good, I would highly recommend the schnitzel as it is so well made and you could hardly tell its now real meat. The portions are so fulfilling, so i’m giving them a heads up for that!
Lastly the dessert was so good and if I wasn’t already full I would have asked for another piece.

There are 2 places to wine and dine in Athens. This is definitely one, Manolis the owner is one of a kind. Huge portions for very good prices. Very very nice service always friendly. Its more like family. Nice pizza Tasty burger and for me the Best Mushroom Gyros in Town. The other one we absolutely recommend is a small reggae vegan place in Exarcheia.

For me one of the best places to visit. I found out about it here at HappyCow and after visiting I was amazed about why I haven't heard about it before. Really good tasty food (I also had two non-vegan friends with me and they were amazed!), surprisingly reasonable prices and an owner that he's second to none! If you are a tourist then maybe you find it difficult to visit Trivoli as it's not near city center but if you have the means then for sure go for it!

What an AMAZING experience! We received a very warm welcome by the owner who was very mindful throughout our stay. The hospitality is on another level, SECOND TO NONE!
