Beggars can’t be choosers

This will likely never be your favorite vegan food. It’s 2021 and it’s a quinoa burger with some black beans. It’s way too crumbly, but tastes decent. With that said, i’m glad the option is here.

Pros: It’s an option in a barren wasteland.

Cons: Falls apart easily.

Terminal A vegan options

Customer service good. I dont like the impossible burger flavor so I preferred this but it does fall apart. I would rather them serve it open face bun vs true burger.

Pros: Taste decent , More vegetable focus

Cons: Falls apart

Burger falls apart but roll with it

Like many say, the burger falls apart. Just accept it and enjoy your bowl with bread. Add all the pickles you want and slap on some barbecue sauce. It's all good.

Pros: Vegan option in TX airport, Pickles, BBQ sauce

Cons: Yes, the burger falls apart

Patty really does immediately fall apart

Patty really does fall apart immediately. Patty is loose amalgam of rice, beans, & breading. The burger flavor is okay. These places should just use impossible burgers if they're not going to try any harder.

Pros: Okay flavor

Cons: Burger falls apart

Grateful for veggie option but...

Grateful for vegan burger but it fell apart immediately upon taking first bite. Tasted fine but execution left a lot to be desired.

Pros: Grateful for vegan patty option, Tasted fine

Cons: Fell apart too easily.

Terrible Location - “Vegan” burger served on bun containing DAIRY

This place gives Twisted Root a BAD name. TRB should really consider pulling their franchise rights. ALL buns contain DAIRY. Staff were in a hurry, rude to customers, and constantly screaming at each other. Guy working the register had a large, unsightly bandage over one of his fingers. Very uncomfortable place to have a meal. While they do carry a vegan burger option, I wouldn’t suggest eating it from here. This place is not up to the high standard Twisted Root sets at their other brick-and-mortor locations. It’s an absolute disgrace and, honesty, should have their license pulled.

Pros: None

Cons: All buns contain dairy, Terrible Service

Different, in a good way

Twisted Root’s vegan burger gets mixed reviews but I love it. Yes, it falls apart but it tastes great and the crispy outside/soft inside work. The fries and pickles are pretty good too.

A for effort... F for the execution...

Don’t waste your money! The burger itself is tasteless, and they douse it in super spicy hot sauce to give it some flavor but that doesn’t fix it.i appreciate there being a specific vegan option but please do it well if you’re going to do it! On top, they gave me a brown avocado. What a shame.

Pros: A labeled vegan option

Cons: Taste, Quality

Unique

The combination of the veggie burger was unique but crumbly. They also have two other vegetarian burgers that can easily be made vegan.

Alright

It’s a burger, not that amazing. Better pay a bit more and go to TGI Fridays and get the beyond burger

Pros: Cheap, Fast

Vegabond is good airport vegan option

The vegabond burger tastes good (and the fries too). Burger does not stay together well, but is prepared nicely and is excellent offering for traveling vegans.

Pros: Vegabond , Easy service, Fast

Good in a pinch

I'm thankful they offer a vegan option and they have fast service if you're in a hurry. I enjoyed the burger, it was a little dry and fell apart easily like others mentioned. I feel like this might be because of the quinoa though. Overall good flavor.

Vegan option in the DFW airport

It’s nice for vegans travelling to have options other than salads or carefully ordered Thai or Mediterranean. The quinoa / bean patty is a little dry and falls apart unless handled carefully. Sriracha gives it a bit of a kick. If you are reading this Twisted Root, I recommend adding tomato and some other veggie toppings to improve flavour.

It’s edible

Patty is not very good. Not many toppings, sad little single slice of avocado. I think it’s moved to Gate 24.
