Great for lunch

Fabulous place for a vegetarian lunch. No fish or seafood on the menu despite what this site says. Very reasonable prices and delicious food. Shame it closes at 5.

Pros: Excellent food, Very good value, Friendly welcome

Cons: Closes at 5.

It's all a history

Glowing review in the past is now a history.... this place is no longer vegetarian. They serve seafood. They still have some vegan coookies and pastries, but sometimes these are stale. If you are lucky, you might get the ones that are not too old and still taste good.

super friendly staff, super cheap prices, super tasty food

I can’t recommend this place enough! Went there for lunch a lot - really nice big portions, the staff are really nice and welcoming and eager to help, the cakes were so fluffy - quite sweet, but that’s normal for local desserts, but seriously, so light and fluffy for a vegan cake - I was really impressed. The food was simple but healthy and came fast, and really really tasty as well, I was always tempted to buy a second plate!
I loved this place - definitely worth checking out!

Pros: Vegan (or veganisable) options , Cheap!, Lovely staff

Cons: none

Nice friendly staff, good pastries

Opposite immigration and adjacent to hotel parvena.

Cakes and savory pastries.

They also do noodle and rice dishes. Once brought a thai friend here and he couldn't believe it's not meat.

Pros: Aircon , clean, comfortable , Nice staff with decent English , Tasty pastries

Cons: Coffee was a little bitter, Not sure what is vegan and what isn't

Decent

I ordered two things when I went here. The first was a soft roll with vegetarian tuna, and that was followed by a slice of blueberry cake.

To begin with I would say that I was completely underwhelmed. Just finding this cafe isn't easy because there is no signage on the outside to indicate it's name, or that it's vegetarian. Check out the photos before you go to ensure that you know what it looks like.

Fancying something different to typical Thai vegetarian food I asked for a croissant with vegetarian tuna, but both that and the bagels were sold out, so the only sandwich-type item remaining was a soft roll (it was about 11:15am on a Friday by this point).

That got served to me, and although edible, it certainly wasn't what you'd term 'healthy' vegetarian food. The white bread was a little soggy and the sandwich had been lathered with a mayonnaise-type sauce (presumably made without egg, although I didn't check).

At this point I wasn't especially thrilled to have searched this place out, and a further frustration was that only three or four of the ten or so tables actually had napkins. All of these tables were occupied, and not wanting to disturb others who were eating, I had to resort to wiping my face onto my hands and my hands onto my chair just to clear myself of any stray mayonnaise.

I subsequently got the blueberry cake, which was good enough to add a star to this review, and stopped my feeling of disappointment having come here. I asked and they confirmed to me that this was milk and egg free. I was largely a little underwhelmed though to be honest.

The two ladies working here were lovely, and eating my soft roll, it was with envy that I looked over to other tables that had ordered Thai food, because that really did look good. So maybe next time I'll opt for typical Thai food instead.

Along with the cakes, that would make coming here a worthwhile trip, although even the delicious baked goods fell short one or two other choices in Bangkok that're listed on Happy Cow.

It's a decent place, and I'll come back again to try some different choices, and hopefully that'll convince me to add one more star to my review.

Nice place

I went there for breakfast, had the vegan fried rice curry which was good. The staff speaks english very well and they are helpful. Most of the dishes contain fake meat. All in all it is a nice place to eat breakfast or lunch once in a while!

Vegan cake and pastries

I love this place. They have awesome vegan cakes, pastries and the best in my opinion was the croissant.

There have good meals around 65 THB to lunch. Some fake meats.

Yummy vegan baked goodness

This is a small bakery offering a wide scrumptious range of treats, some ready to pick up and go, and a menu of things they will make fresh. While a little tricky to find its worth the effort!
We had to get a bag of goodies away with us, because the breakfast was excellent and the cake was unbelievably good (breakfast cake is acceptable on your birthday lol).

Pros: Great menu, Nice staff, air-con and free wi-fi

Cons: Tricky to find, English is ok, Some milk and yogurt drinks - be aware

excellent food

after many visits to the Immigration Bureau which is right across from the restaurant, i have tried many dished there.
their noodles in soup is very mild and tasty. the vermicelli salad was refreshing while the "khao mhu tod" (fake pork on rice) was delicious. prices are unbeatable. no parking. totally recommended...
