Incredible food, the loveliest staff and 10/10 vibe - Edit
This restaurant was the absolute standout in Ipoh for us - absolutely delicious and fully vegan menu, with huge range and truly the nicest / most helpful staff. Every dish we had was wonderful and the atmosphere was just delightful - we found quite a lot of vegan / veggie restaurants in Ipoh very quiet but this one was buzzing, and with good reason!! Definitely prioritise this one if you’re in Ipoh!

Mr. Teh's Vegan Owned Cafe! - Edit
It's really not that hard. Are you the manager? I'm the owner. How long have you been vegan? Eight years. Why did you decide to become vegan? Ten minute conversation ensues, animals, environment, philosophy. It's not that hard to ask someone if they or their business is vegan. Vegans love talking about their accomplishments and spreading the joy of living in alignment with their beliefs! No prevarication or excuse making. This cafe is a pure miracle. My work in Malaysia is done, having found the heart of veganism here in Ipoh, the heart of the country. Amazing. This place will move you to tears.

Happiness on a Plate - Edit
This is a gem for vegans or anyone wanting to eat delicious food in a really cute place😄Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and absolutely delicious food showcasing local Chinese Malaysian cuisine. There were certain Chinese dishes I haven’t been able to eat for years since going vegan that we found here. Fresh juices and pandan coconut cake are heavenly. We learnt some sign language while we ate too as they support the Deaf community - many staff are deaf and the ordering system reflects this. Love this place ♥️

A real delight - Edit
Excellent vegan menu with lots of authentic options. A good mix of just veg (definitely try dishes with hericium mushrooms) and plant-based 'meat' dishes. Lovely atmosphere, the staff make you feel really welcome. Would totally recommend this for any vegans visiting Ipoh. Incorrect opening hours on Happy Cow, check Google instead.

We came here twice during our stay. It was a little out of the way but worth it and can be accessed with walk or through Grab taxi. The staff are very friendly and helped and it’s great that they employ differently abled people and they genuinely seem included. They don’t have as many deaf people working there as they used to but they have pictures on the wall to practice sign language and a light system for staff who are deaf. They have a range of menus including specials and there are some separate carts that you can also order desserts or snacks from. Unfortunately they ran out of cake the second time we went and only seem to make these on particular days.

Lovely cafe, ok food - Edit
This cafe has a lovely cozy design and the staff is fantastic. The menu serves a lot of Thai and western food. We tried the meals with mushroom/Thai basil and mushroom/broccoli rice. They were ok. Not very flavourful. The chicken drumstick snack was tasty. And I tried the coconut pandan cake - that was yummy and big. Overall, nice experience but flavour was lacking.

Pros: Vegan. , Great staff, nice atmosphere
Cons: Feels like angled to “western taste”, A little pricey

You can't miss going here - Edit
They have so many delicious looking dishes on the menu. It was hard to decide. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Kebab Set and my brother the green curry which was also the dish of the day (only RM 12.90) both of it was so flavorful. The faux meat was soooo good.

The best think is that they sell cake. I was really graving it and it was sooooo good.
I wish I could come here again!

Great Concept, Great Value. - Edit
Easy to find place in the new town with plenty of parking nearby. The place itself has great decor, it's open, well-lit and the furniture is all pretty cute. The hearing-impaired theme of the restaurant is thoughtful and the goal of employing deaf or hearing-impaired people admirable. The restaurant is also so well-run, that you wouldn't even realise that this was something to be aware of.
Read moreThe menu is excellently-priced and there is a good selection of Chinese cuisine food items. Salads are fresh and well-dressed, most of the mock-meat dishes are substituted with mushrooms and that was nice.
The only downside is that the menu is solid, but not exciting. You know pretty much what you're going to get and even though they do everything well, there's nothing on the menu that's going to make you come and visit this place solely to eat that one thing.
Pros: Cheaper Than Similar Restaurants For Similar Items, Great Business Goal, Great Theme
Cons: Lacking That One Really Great Dish

Wonderful! - Edit
The mission of this restaurant is awesome and the staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is nice as well. Most of the menu is fake meats which is slightly off putting if you don't generally eat that sort of thing. It all tasted great though! The yam rolls are amazing and the chicken satay bento was great too. The fish was a bit weird but that is probably just a taste preference. If you are in Ipoh this is a must try!

You'll be greated by a brown dog that is fed by the restaurant. He's a bit shy but he don't bite.
Read moreAmbiance of restaurant is very calming, good lighting and good choice of furniture. I ordered chicken chop with black pepper sauce and cold soy milk. The chicken chop is an ok for me but the salad tasted very fresh, all of the vegetables are very crispy. I forgot to mention no straw for my drink. If you're environmental friendly, let them knoe in the order chit that you wouldn't want a straw with your drink. I can really taste the soy in the drink as the taste is very subtle.
Price wise is reasonable.

We had the teriyaki chicken and tempura prawns and both were so delicious. We learnt how to say thank you in sign and staff seemed so appreciative of us. Two mains, side and two drinks came to just under MR50. Would definitely come again!

Lovely decor, quick friendly service - Edit
Had a lovely experience here, very attentive and communicative staff despite majority being deaf/mute.
Read moreFood was served quickly. Mine was okay but I made the mistake of ordering aglio olio (usually chilli, oil and garlic) in a place that doesn’t use garlic - d’oh. Tasted okay but not what I was after. I tried a good few bites of the ‘lamb’ burger which was great - should have ordered this. Probably poorly named as it didn’t taste anything like lamb (thankfully) and was more of a veg patty.
Had a slice of passion fruit cake after which was delicious and light!
Pros: All vegan , Great cake , Lovely attentive staff
Cons: Pasta dish wasn’t tip top
