Satisfied my craving - Edit
I was really craving a comforting Chinese meal and luckily this stand was one of the more affordable ones at Vegan Camp Out (with a decent portion size). I went for the noodles, fried rice, beef and sweet&sour chicken. The rice and chicken were definitely my favorite as I’m not the biggest fan of dehydrated soy (which the beef was made of). I had never had sweet&sour chicken before but somehow it tasted very nostalgic and I will be thinking about this one for a long time. Would recommend!

Cons: Dehydrated soy chunks were pretty bland.

10/10 vegan food - Edit
Welcoming, clean premises. Was our first ever time eating at an entirely vegan Chinese restaurant and so we felt spoilt for choice, though everything we had was excellent. Would highly recommend!

A bit disappointing - Edit
I was really excited to try the food here, but ended up being a bit disappointed. All the dishes we tried lacked flavour and the mock meats weren’t very nice.

gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous vegan chinese food with a fab array of dishes with many interesting mock meats to choose from. i cannot fault the food at all. our highlights were the sweet and sour chicken, special noodles and the prawn toast. all were to die for. however! the food is pricey (granted it is london) but the 12.5% service charge was a shock at the end of the meal, and it really bumped up the cost. the service really wasn’t much, just a few plates bought out and then our bill. also, the teapot nozzle was chipped. this may sound pedantic, but in terms of hygiene it is not ideal. overall i do recommend the place for sure and i’d love to return, im just pointing out such small criticisms to notify others if you choose to visit.

Best vegan Chinese food ever - Edit
I was blown away by the food here. This is the best vegan Chinese food I’ve ever tried, and I keep coming back. All the dishes resemble the original traditional ones, and you wouldn’t know they’re plant-based if you didn’t already. I was particularly impressed by their “fish” and their “beef”, which are really accurate. The sweet and sour “chicken” is the best I’ve ever tried. I absolutely recommend this place! The prices and service are great.

Worth the hype! - Edit
I have wanted to visit Vegan Planet for a while now as it has such good ratings on here and among the vegan community and after visiting, I can see why!
Read moreThe menu is MEGA and has so much to choose from, I went with some friends and we chose a number of dishes as we wanted to try as much as possible. It was quite expensive but worth every penny, I would definitely recommend going with a group so you can share as you wont be able to choose just one!
The food was amazing and the staff were super lovely too - 10/10 experience ✨

Two vegans took two non vegans to experience vegan Chinese food - Edit
A group of us visited vegan planet for my birthday meal. For myself it was my first time and I brought two non vegans and we all loved it. Even the non vegans said they couldn’t taste the difference. The service was amazing as well! I’ll definitely be making it my port of call next time I’m in Camden! One new very satisfied customer.

Very peaceful and serene. A great atmosphere with very patient staff who made it a very gentle experience. The food was really tasty especially the won ton in spicy sauce, had a great kick. Soup was also good. There was no rush on ordering or leaving despite them being very busy. Highly recommended

Lovely! - Edit
Loved the food, wonderful staff and service, didn't take long.
Read moreI really like spice, but the spicey symbols on the menu didn't really translate. I also got a dish with Sichuan peppercorns, but it wasn't Sichuan peppery.
I asked the staff, and he told me to tell them when I order next time. So if you want it like you would get in Sichuan, be sure to ask, or you'll get the slightly toned down white people version. :p

Faboulous Chinese food - Edit
Great place. There’s quite a wide selection of dishes, comprising both the the staples (dumplings, noodles) and less common dishes (okra appetiser). Flavoursome, not steeped in oil or deep fried. Friendly efficient service. Reasonably priced. Will definitely come back again.

Nice authenitic place - Edit
We visited Vegan Planet as part of a guided food tour and got to try 3 different kind of dumplings as well as vegan fish. The second was really something I've never tasted before. It really had a fishy taste and the texture was also on point. It's definitely better than your normal Asian restaurant but there are other more interesting vegan venue in the area.

We got a delivery from here (Just Eat - not on Deliveroo) and loved it!
Read moreWe had sesame prawn toast for starterswith a spicy sweet chilli sauce which actually travelled really well and arrived hot. This is the first time I've had prawn toast since becoming veggie then vegan (about 20 yrs) and loved it.
For our mains we were greedy as this was our first time, spicy wontons (amazing!) sweet and sour "chicken" and spicy black bean "beef" with special fried rice and white rice. The black been "beef" didn't have much punch but everything else was really great.
I look forward to the next time to try out some other dishes.
Pros: Everything vegan, amazing and has a massive menu, Love that is has your regular takeaway favourites , Also has more fancy dishes too
