Impromptu meal at Vegan Planet - Edit
We made a last minute booking at vegan planet this evening and they were more than happy to accommodate our party of three. We have visited Vegan Planet previously and loved it so we thought we'd have a meal again whilst we are in the area .The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived . The menu is vast with so many choices to choose from. We decided to have a few dishes and share than between us. We had the Prawnless Toast, Special Fried Rice and Spring Rolls. Then each of us chose a main which we all had a bit of each dish, we had the Cantonese Style Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef In Black bean Sauce and Kungpao Chicken. All the food was delicious and seasoned just right. For pudding we all had the Biscoff Cheesecake, which was creamy and so tasty. Look forward to visiting again soon.🙂💚🇨🇳

Expensive - Edit
The food was okay, but the price was very high. Probably wouldn't return for this reason.

Nice lunch - Edit
Great selection of vegan meals , but portions quite small, no salt and pepper on the table or other sauces offered, little bit greasy. Quite pricey.

Very good - Edit
Delicious food but a bit expensive. We had cauliflower, bok choy in garlic sauce, tofu and black rice. The flavours were really good. Even the tofu was very flavourful, but I think they used a lot of salt (tasty of course, not so healthy). As a dessert we had a chocolate caramel cake, yum! We paid €56, I think that's quite expensive. They also charge extra for the tip. They call it "optional" but you don't really have a choice.

Pros: All vegan, Delicious taste, Lots of vegetables
Cons: Expensive, Tip is included in the bill

Amazing food - Edit
That was so good, especially the sweet and sour chicken - I missed that so much since I have no chance getting that vegan anywhere at home. Amazing.

Amazing all vegan Chinese food - Edit
Such an array of options. The spicy wontons and twice fried fish were my favourite. Oh and the Peking duck pancakes.

Nice full vegan Chinese - Edit
Went in for dinner with my boyfriend. They have a really extensive menu. We chose to share a few dishes.
Read morePrawn toast which was tasty, satay skewers which were delicious and a favourite of both of ours, salt and pepper tofu which was nice although the tofu had a strange texture, almost pillowy?
Then from the mains we had the fried noodles which were so good! We had this with the beef in black bean sauce, the sauce was really nice and the "beef" had a good texture, nice and tender but only tasted of soy, like textured soy protein you can buy.
Overall nice place to get dinner! Worth going to and the two dishes I would definitely reorder are the vegan chicken satay skewers and the special fried noodles.
Pros: Large menu

On the pricier side - Edit
Yummy food but noodles (no main) and prawn toast slices came at a price of £16. Also quite greasy so can definitely see it hitting the “greasy hangover chinese” craving

Delicious Food & Endless Options - Edit
Dou Dou’s was one of my favourite places to eat so when it closed I was pretty gutted! Knowing that it was refurbed & re-launched as Vegan Planet, I knew I had to try it.
Read moreThe food didn’t disappoint - it tasted just as fab as I remembered & there were even more choices. Although it’s no longer a buffet & therefore you have to choose what you’d like to order, bearing in mind the costs - as I’ll definitely be going back, it didn’t make picking out the dishes too tricky 💚
Pros: 100% vegan, vibrant decor, extensive menu

Pay attention to what they ask in your order; they ask if you'd like rice or noodles in the main dish, as if its part of the dish , but you find out its an extra when you get the bill so Main dish jumps from 15£ to 24£. - Edit
Other than that the food was ok, the pekin duck was nice. The prawns with cashew nuts weren't bad either but the fried rice lacks any flavours

We had the wonton soup, dim sum platter, sweet and sour chicken and beef ho fun and it was delicious. The best Asian food we had during our stay in London. Highly recommended and we will definitely visit again on our next visit to London.

Yummy Chinese - Edit
Very nice sesame prawn toast. Wontons were good too. The asparagus was lovely as well but the vegan meat in that dish resembled pork belly which I probably never liked and feels too fatty. I loved the sauces and garlic in the dishes.

Amazing vegan Chinese - Edit
This was absolutely delicious. We even had to look it up a few times to confirm it was all vegan, the mock meats are quite realistic. The spicy wontons were my favorite, but every single item would be a redo! I loved the sweet and sour chickn paired with white rice too. Definitely would come back here multiple times during a single London trip.

great vegan chinese - Edit
had a lovely meal here, food was very tasty, came out quick and the service was excellent. it was a nice range of sichuan and generic chinese dishes! portions were quite small for the price, i think it is definitely on the expensive side (one starter, main and drink (and sharing one portion of noodles) costing £34 each is a bit too much imo - but still enjoyed!
