Est. June 2024. Fully vegan restaurant serves traditional sushi using vegetables and other vegan ingredients unique to Japan. Pumpkin paste, Ikura (red caviar), scrambled eggs, avocado roll, tempura roll, eringi (king oyster) mushroom, meat, myoga (Japanese ginger), shiitake mushroom, kabayaki (tofu). Reservations required and may be done through the website. Note: the space is used for a bar in the evening so not all the alcohol displayed is vegan. Please check before going, as may take irregular holidays. Relocated from Dogenzaka 1-chome-17-2 2F, Shibuya. Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:00pm-8:30pm. Closed Wed & Sun. Last order: 3:15pm (15:15).

Read moreEverything is of very high quality and made with passion. The staff is very polite and we felt more than welcome.
You also get a card with a QR-Code to a List of vegan Restaurants in Japan.
I would recommend to make a reservation if you want to visit due Dinner-Time.
And be aware of the fact that they don't accept cash as payment. You should have a credit-card of apple-pay.

If you liked a piece more than the others you can then order extras.
It was absolutely delicious, and I loved the different sauces and the recommendations of what sauce to use with what piece.
We managed to get there at a quiet time so no wait for a table, but in busier days I would expect a wait.

The sushi was good, you get a plate of 10 different sushis, that you can’t choose yourself, you can only choose if you want drinks etc. or order more on top.
Read moreFor me not the best option because I don’t like mushroom and wouldn’t have chosen the sushis with mushroom.
The others were quite good, but only a few were exceptional. You get different toppings and sauces, which is cool so you try different flavors.
My boyfriend loved it, said it was the best sushi ever, for me it was good (and a bit pricey, but I guess that’s all sushi in Tokyo).
Service was super good, they were fast and really friendly.

It's a very touristy experience and kind of expensive for what it is. The sushi was ok but quite simple for the price and the miso soup was lacking salt. The staff is very nice but it didn't even feel like I was still in Japan.

All the sushi was so good, especially the kaba and the eggplant one. The Miso soup served with it is also very nice as is the yuzu soda and the different toppings for the sushi. The staff was also very helpful in explaining how the menu works as at first glance feels like a lot to take in. The desserts (dorayaki and ice cream) were also so amazing.

The best vegan sushi I've ever had. Very carefully selected and prepared ingredients, matcha, sake and dorayaki are very good too! The staff is super friendly and welcoming and carefully explained the whole menu to me. Great, one of a kind experience even for non vegan people.

Read moreWe went for the set menu with dessert and the non alcohol drink (at least two of us :P) the desserts were also really amazing! Vegan matcha donut with vegan icecream😋. The icecream was nice and cold and the donut was still a bit of warm!

Fixed menu with one of each sushi and then you can order ‘refills’ of specific ones as you please. Love a place that has confidence in what it does - pick something simple and do it well. The food, sake and beer were all delicious. Service was warm and friendly and the place was full on a Sunday evening. Well priced for the care that goes into what they produce.

Read moreReading all these nice comments, I was disappointed after my experience, and still don't get how people can be so enthusiastic.
The orders work by fixed menus, not leaving the customer the freedom to decide. The story told at the table is pretty much a tape rolled to every customer, which I found very poor in terms of experience.
At the end, you leave with an almost empty stomach. Unless you pay for a refill piece by piece.
Feel free to go without reservation: the restaurant was almost empty, in my case.

Many of the sushi were very veg forward but the dips and sauces added to the experience. Enjoyed the yuzu pepper and green onion salt. My favorite sushis were the tuna and vegan egg. The dorayaki with ice cream was lovely if you enjoy red bean!
