Disappointed - Edit
After walking from old town with high expectations, vegan’s Prague definitely failed to deliver.
Read moreGoulash was super bland, the wine choice was limited and calling lemonade out the bottle with some berries at the bottom of the glass “homemade” is generous.
Shame, although there’s a lot of choice given it’s a vegan restaurant, you can’t seem to beat less choice but done to a high standard.
Thank you for having us anyway ☺️
P.s. the waitress was super lovely!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Lovely service
Cons: Expensive, Bland food , Not accessible

Good food - Edit
The food here was good but not as good as I was expecting. It was pricier than other vegan places and not as tasty. I got a traditional Czech meal and enjoyed it. The wine was delicious.

Veganized traditional Czech food - Edit
I was curious about the veganized Czech food, so I had svíčková and my husband had the cabbage goulash. There are also some options more “international” for people not comfortable with local cuisine as hamburgers, salads, curry rice… Aboundant portion and good taste.

Did not live up to expectations - Edit
Visited the restaurant in late Nov with high hopes as it tops rankings in Prague, and Prague tops rankings among European cities following London. I was quite disappoonted though. Ordered 4 mini burgers and cabbage goulash with dumplings. Burgers did not leave any memory, below average for the category. They tasted same so i leaft the 4th. Goulash was ok, but did not impress either. Next time i am in Prague i will try another places. Cannot believe there are no good vegan restaurants/bars in this beatiful city.

Too expensive - Edit
I was looking forward to the Czech dishes and chose cabbage goulash with dumplings which was ok, but not that special. My partner had Svickova with dumplings which was quite interesting on the other hand: A mixture between sweet and savoury. :)
Read moreThe service was good and quick and the interior was also quite nice.
For dessert we had cheese cake: It was dry and tasted as if it had been in the fridge for several days - why are you selling something like this? 158 CZK was also way too much for the small portions.
I´m glad that I could taste vegan Czech dishes but I wouldn´t come to this restaurant again.

Great view from the balcony, with nice staff. However, it was too expensive for the average tasting food, adding to the high waiting time, which made our experience far from meeting the expectations.

The place for traditional Czech dishes - Edit

Vegan food with a view - Edit
First of all- stairs…. You have to go up several VERY steep flights of stairs to reach the restaurant- after walking up a steep hill. But it’s worth it! At the top there’s a nice view of the castle. They have traditional Czech food- which is what they ordered but it looked like they have some great burgers too. We got the Svickova and the goulash with cabbage. Goulash had nice texture and was mixed with cabbage. It was great with the bread dumplings. You can’t go wrong with Svickova- tastes like thanksgiving.

Vegan Czech - Edit
It was very nice to be able to try some the traditional local dishes in vegan form. Still, while it was good, it wasn’t exceptional, and the space lacked some the special feel of the surrounding old neighborhood (which one might expect to find after climbing several flights of stairs!). Still, the staff was very nice and again a good place for vegans to try the local cuisine.

Traditional czech food - Edit
This is the go-to restaurant if you're looking for traditional food that is fully vegan.
Read moreWe had the fresh homemade bread (with dips), coconut curry with rice, and of course the cabbage goulash with dumplings. All three dishes were amazing, with large portions and full of flavor.
Unfortunately it was raining during our visit so we couldn't enjoy the terrace, but the views from there are incredible.
The prices are a bit high compared to other options in the city, but it doesn't feel expensive at all based on the quality (and quantity) of the food, the service we received, and the amazing location.
The only downside is that we visited the restaurant after climbing Petrin tower and all the stairs to the restaurant almost made us turn around.
Pros: Great, traditional food, Very generous , Amazing service
Cons: Lots of stairs, Above-average prices
