Vegan restaurant in a 16th century building near Prague Castle with terrace and view, est. 2016. Makes home-style Czech and international cuisine. Example of food: goulash, raw chocolate cake, tomato bruschetta, soy latte, zucchini lasagna, and cabbage rolls. Located on the top floor of the building, not accessible to wheelchairs or mobility-reduced people. Companion animal friendly. Open Mon-Sun 11:30-21:30.

Amazing food in historical surroundings - Edit
Vegan's Prague offers dishes like burgers, but the reason I come, and where they are unique, are the vegan editions of Czechs dishes. I had a "Svickova with dumplings" (notice that dumplings here are like slices of bread, but made of the same dough as "regular" dumplings). It was a really nice dish, and something really new for me.
Read moreThe restaurant is in an really old and nice buildings, in historical surroundings in the old part of Prague. It adds extra flavour for an historical interested person like me.
The staff is really friendly, so please give them some tips. In Czech Republic the norm is at least 10 %, but I recommend to give Vegans Prague at least 20 % in tips :)

perfect after a visit at the Prague Castle - Edit
the Svíčková was good (maybe a little less salt for the 'meat' pieces) and we were surprised that the goulash was so much on the tomato-ish side, everything was fine and filling though. we liked the location and the staff was very friendly and relaxed. i hope you have enogh energy to climb the stairs, pay attention to the nice leftover medieval(?) paintings at the ceiling too!

They have a lot of interesting options, I went with the veganised czech meals , but I didn't like it that much. Still the food was really filling.

We had two yummy Czech vegan dishes here, strawberry lemonade, and a “rosy rosehip” tea. The food was nice! I thought it was great to get more traditional dishes veganised.

Title of this review speak for itself, I found this place here at HappyCow and by recomodations it looked solid good.
Read moreTrue is that meals weren’t nothing special, my spinach soup needed salt&pepper, also mail dish-Svíčková- classis meal at Slovakia(where I am from) and at Czechia which I ate a lot of times before was ok, but I had much better somewhere else! Only 2 very tiny pieces of “meat” and pretty basic sauce(too much celery taste in it).
It’s pity, not good not terrible, so many stairs to restaurant which is based on the hill, killer at this high temperatures outside, but there was aircondition, so after few minutes we felt better😄
Pros: Clean place, Nice staff(one waitress too much for me), Location
Cons: Basic taste of meals, Only few meals at menü, Not for immobile or older ones(many stairs)

Amazing option near Prague's castle - Edit
It was a great surprise after a long visit to Prague's Castle to have a vegan restaurant so near it. The place is really cute. Probably great for a date. Had the Goulash, it was really good.

We ordered the cabbage goulash, apricot dumplings and chocolate cake. All the food was very delicious, and very good, just not five star worth. If you’re vegan in the city, you shouldn’t miss this spot, but if you’ve ever had real goulash, dumplings and chocolate cake, these still somewhat pale in comparison. That said, for vegan versions, they are pretty good.

Very cool location. (Be warned there were many stairs). Near prague castle which was a bit touristy and might be the reason this place was more expensive than others. However, it also came with a lot more food so we had leftovers! Get the czech dumplings while you're here and homemade orange-lemonaid🍋

Lovely location, you don't expect a restaurant this big. It's on the top of a building so you have to walk a lot of stairs.

Good typical (but vegan) food - Edit
We went there on our trip to Prague to try some local dishes but in the vegan version. The food was super good, we had the tomato sauce and the goulash and everything came super fast, which was good because we were really hungry. The problem I see its that the space is not very big and sometimes it might feel as if they dont want you to stay there for a long time. We didnt have the chance to see the terrace but it must be pretty good!

Beautiful spot with delicious food - Edit
There’s a sweet little rooftop seating area with views of Prague Castle, awesome spot for a delicious vegan meal when touring that area. The waitstaff were super friendly and recommended the avocado tartare to start which was very refreshing and went well with the affordable pivo. Tried both of the more traditional czech main dishes on the menu that day and they were both so flavorful and filling. Would be great on a cold day, but was also great on our sunny day.

I am really strict about service our ladies must be very nice and polite... about the food: why you didnt say anything, we always ask our customers twice if everything is ok, first when you are eating, second time when you are paying. If its not okay we can change your order or cancel! Everybody must be happy at our restaurant :)
About prices: our food is about 12euros, we were closed more than a year, our location is not cheap, advance payments for electricity our now 3 times more, vegetable is more expensive, you have to pay more to your staff because nobody want to comeback to restaurant business etc... So we are just trying to be responsible and fair with prices

We've loved it! We had the starter plate, vegan goulash, zucchini lasagna and desserts (I think it was chocolate-pomegranate cake and strawberry dumplings). By the time we ordered the desserts we were actually stuffed, but we really wanted to try them - and it was so worth it! The restaurant is lovely, the service is great, the prices are okay (a bit on the higher side, but still fine) and the food and drinks were excellent. The variety is quite big and they also have changing meals of the week (I think you can look them up on social media). Great place, absolutely recommendable!

A fully vegan restaurant within walking distance from the castle in Prague and with a rooftop-terrace with a beautiful view. Has lots of burgers but also traditional czech food. Serves large portions and mine did taste pretty good to me. It's a tad expensive though and you'll have to climb up a lot of stairs so it might not be accessible to older people/ disabled people (I didn't see a lift).

Beautiful setting, incredible terrace, friendly service. Menu looks great, but everything else really lets it down. We both ordered traditional Czech foods but because of how small the portions were (2 tiny tempeh bits and 3 small meatballs) we mainly had bread/rice in sauce for about 10€ each/main

Recommend sitting on the balcony, it's a great view of the castle. We ordered the platter starter, the two dumpling dishes, and then "honey" cake. All the food was amazing - pricey for the area but still much cheaper than the UK! Would defo go again.
