this little stand in a covered walkway offers gluten-free vegan waffles. yes only one recipe for these two "constraints" and the result is very successful! it's very greedy and generous. I took 2 toppings, chocolate and whipped cream, I admit that it was a bit too much, I think that one is enough! otherwise I recommend their waffles which will plunge you into a distant memory of childhood

The waffle tastes very good, also there were a lot of vegan toppings which you could choose. Unfortunately there was no seating area and the place where their sold the waffles was in a weird, little, inside, market place. We didnt like that, so we decided to walk with our waffle.

I was so happy when they first showed up years ago! It’s so great to now have a vegan waffle option in Brussels as well. Their waffles are delicious and they offer multiple kinds of toppings. While they’ll never be like the authentic gaufre de Liège, they have become super popular among tourists and locals alike and you’ll likely see lineups (they’re worth it!)

You can order waffles due how many toppings you would like. One topping is mostly sofficient but we went (almost) all aboard and got two super sweet toppings - whipped cream and salty caramel. I think the whipped cream is almost a must since everyone ordered theirs simply with cream.
The waffle itself tasted really great and I loved the consistency of the whipped cream. Though, I'm not sure if German waffles taste any different than those - in my humble opinion they do not. But since I'm not aiming to destroy the Belgian myth of creating superb waffles, you should try them and see for yourself.
