Delicious but Expensive - Edit
VeganWaf is located inside a building full of small shops selling cheap clothes, jewellery and more. Quite an interesting place to see in my opinion.
Read moreThe waffles were vegan, gluten free and quite expensive. These were the prices when I was there:
Waffel with
- no topping 4€
- one topping 5,50€
- two toppings 6,50€
- three toppings 7,50€
This was about twice as expensive as non-vegan waffles from other places.
There were six toppings to choose from (chocolate, salty caramel, whipped cream, syrop de liège, mapple (sic) syrup and agave syrup).
As extras there were
- banana 2€
- strawberry 2,50€
- whipped cream 2€
I had a Waffel with chocolate topping and strawberries. It tasted really good. If it weren't for the high price I would've given five stars. I am still really happy this place exists.

My partner had salted caramel and whipped cream, only downside is they wanted chocolate but the machine had been turned off by accident. We’re going to go back for another though 😊

Read moreReasonable price especially as I think it's something you really just get once while you are visiting Belgium. Super tasty waffle with generous amounts of toppings and the chocolate they use is dark Callebaut which is super good quality!
It's just off the Grand Palace so can either sit outside there and people watch or there is also seating inside.

Really enjoyed our VeganWaf! The waffles are prepared fresh and served piping hot. We got a waffle with salted caramel sauce and one topped with strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream. They were both delicious. 5 star waffles.
Read moreThe ambience of the location leaves something to be desired. The waffle stand is in a shopping arcade and the only seating is in a little area with chained off tables in front of the restrooms. The man at the waffle stand told us we could eat at the tables which was great because it was raining really hard outside. If it isn't raining you may just want to take your waffle out to the grand place to enjoy.

I think the price is justified.
But watch out, they are roaring hot :D
We had the cream and chocolate sauce as a topping, which was a bit too sweet for me. Basically delicious.

I really appreciate the opportunity to try a good vegan waffle, especially in a gluten free version. That said, the place itself was located in a dark, shady looking gallery, not a great ambience. Also, they're a bit pricey.

Bad experience for not speaking French - Edit
One of the worst experiences ever. We felt discriminated for not speaking French in Belgium. We're not from Belgium and we don't speek French. A guy from staff took our order in English and then he spent the next 5 minutes chatting to next two customers in French.

Then he returned to us and asked again about the details our order, as he obviously forgot what toppings we wanted to have. When I told him the talked too much and that was why he forgot the order he started arguing with me why I was "acting like that".
Moreover, bouth our waflles were sticky in the middle and the amount of chocolate was definitely disappointing (just sprinkled with it). 15 euros for 2 waffles and a very bad experience included.

Place is located in a passage. Can get quite busy and you might have to wait as the waffles are made freshly and are not prepared. If you like toppings, they of several options like chantille cream, chocolate, strawberries, salted caramel and more.

Wanted to try this for a very long time, and today we finally got here! Because we were going to a concert later we both got a waffle without toppings, which would make it easier to eat. And it was absolutely delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a nice hint of cinnamon.
