I've eaten at Vegegården 5-10 times a year for over 15 years now, and their food is always great. It doesn't matter if I choose to have the buffet or a la carte, they always serve high quality food that tastes great! It's consistent and reliable. And the portions are big, I'm always super full for hours afterwards. Also, the staff is friendly!

If you're a first time visitor, my recommendation is to choose the buffet, that way you get a sense of all they offer.

And on Saturdays they do a bbq bar where they grill your own selection of veg and mock meats, amazing 🙌

The buffet was so tasty and there were alot of dishes to choose from. Noodle wok, spring rolls, "beef" wok, curry, deep fried "shrimp"/pineapple/soy strips. Salad buffet. Coffee included in lunch. It was really great and the lady working there was so sweet. The only downside is that it closes too early in the evening.

A lot of fried options and also different currys, wok dishes and a generous salat bar.
Prices are totally fair.
If it would be possible I would give 4.5 stars. The seasoning of some dishes is sometimes a bit bland for my taste.

A trip to my past where my parents took us to asian buffets. I love a good buffet and this really speaks to me.
Read moreIt even has barbeque where you can pick your own raw vegetabels and proteins, to bring to a counter where you add sauces and oils for them to cook. I felt like a kid again, and I will bring everyone I know to this place.
The protein replacements all tast great, and the consistency of the beef and the duck is probably the best I have had... meaning my non-vegan friends would love it as well.
There is nothing I don't like here.
The interior is really cosy and I love the aesthetic. The buffet area and restaurant in general could be bigger for my taste.

The Chinese dishes you love with amazing replacements - Edit
I loved it!! All dishes were exactly like the original, except the meat is replaced by substitute products. They have vegan shrimps, lamb, beef, chicken. The lamb was amazing, very very close to the real thing.

This place is great! Lunch buffet includes tap water and coffee; other drinks you pay a la carte. There is different pricing for children depending on age. We paid 50 SEK for a 3 year old and 85 SEK for a 7 year old. The food was excellent! And the portions! I love a good buffet! Owner was very friendly, though his English is limited.

Best place in Malmö - Edit
I was really taken aback when I visited Vegegården. A very nice and variated buffet, everything vegan and very similar to “normal” Asian food. There are a couple of gluten-free options as well which was pleasant. The owner is very friendly. The price is very good, on workdays it’s very cheap! I will be coming back!

Das Buffet lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen:
Von gebratenen Nudeln, gekochtem Reis, frittierten Sojanuggets, frittierten Süßkartoffeln, frittierten "Garnelen" bis hin zu Champignons in Sauce und Gemüse-Allerlei/"Vleisch"-Allerlei und verschiedensten Salaten war alles dabei.
Halt ein typisches All you can eat Asia Buffet, wie man es aus früheren Zeiten kennt. Nur halt komplett vegan. Und der Preis ist unschlagbar: für das Lunch Buffet haben wir umgerechnet 11,50€ pro Person bezahlt! Man hatte noch die Möglichkeit, "besonderes" dazu zu bestellen wie veganes "Lamm", veganen "Fisch", "Kochschinken" u.Ä.
Aber das war bei der reichhaltigen Auswahl gar nicht nötig.
A completely vegan All-you-can-eat- Asia - restaurant with good prices and a really nice staff.
We asked the staff, if we really could eat anything at the buffet and he told us that everything is vegan.
There's nothing more you can wish:
You can eat fried noodles, cooked rice, deep-fried soy nuggets, deep-fried sweet potatoes, deep-fried "shrimps" and mushrooms in sauce. You can also eat at the salad buffet or the "meat substitutes. The variety is really wide. Like a typical Asia-Buffet, but completely vegan.
The price was very low: we only paid 11,50€ per person!
You can also buy special extra food like vegan "lamb" or "bacon", but you don't have to.
