Everything about the place is giving me life! The welcoming smiling owner met us in the dining room, among other chill diners and a pick up order. Very laid back atmosphere. The music is great, the vibes are great. The menu is so inticing, both healthy and indulgent things to chose from. Great decor. Home made, with love 💕

I highly recommend dining in over takeout. That way your fried will stay nice and crisp. Bc overall, I rlly like the texture of the chicken. Collards were super yummy as were the fries and sauce it was served with. Mac And Cheese tasted great . Like Nooch and maybe soy milk. I love that combo. I also got a coconut cake. Not rlly a cake person but it was pretty flavorful and good.

This was the first stop on our trip to the Nashville area. We loved it. The Mac n cheese with greens reminded me of living in the south as a teen. Our whole family enjoyed our meal and hope to stop in again before we leave town.

We came in soaked from walking in the severe thunderstorm that hit while we were a block away. Our host, Tony, invited us in and took care of us. We were awarded with phenomenal hot chicken and some of the best steak fries I've ever had. Like, seriously, they were good enough for me to remark on the humble steak fry. Tony recommended the strawberry cake for dessert and it was spectacular. I will be eating here every time I come to Nashville.

Ok, fair warning: this place is a true hole in the wall. As a vegan for 20 years, I’m used to this kind of thing, but I brought my non-vegan, non-adventurous, chain-restaurant-eating partner and his 13-year old kid - and they were NOT prepared!

Driving through Nashville on a road trip and found this spot. The soul chick platter hot had a little of everything I was craving! My mom isn’t vegan but she really enjoyed the lasagna and cheesecake here as well. The staff are super nice and welcoming, 10/10 recommend !!

Really delicious food, wonderful staff, and great atmosphere! We had the Reuben sandwich and the Soul Chick Plate Hot. The Reuben was on point with the flavors (I wondered about the pepper and onions on it but they definitely added to the depth of flavor!) and that marbled rye, wow! Such a satisfying sandwich! The Soul Chick Plate Hot was so filling and delicious! The collards were tender and juicy, the Mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy, the fries cut thick (my favorite) and seasoned perfectly, and the chicken had just the right amount of spice! The roll was also SO good, I was so full, but kept eating it! The staff was also so incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful which added so much to the experience!! We also loved sitting outside and enjoying great music! Any time we are in Nashville, we will be back to enjoy this wonderful and delicious restaurant!
