We loved Vegetalia! While staying in Barcelona a while ago, we went to two different Vegetalia locations.

The Catalan cream was dreamy!!
Thanks to Vegetalia, we felt that we didn't miss out on Spanish food as vegans on holiday.

My son and I loved this place, we visited twice during our short stay in Barcelona. We couldn’t get enough of them nachos!! 🥑 it is a vegetarian place so you do need to specifically ask for vegan cheeze 🙂

Really enjoyed lunch here. Lots of vegan options although some dairy on their menu. Really enjoyed the veggie paella but the carrot cake was delicious. Very good value on the daily specials menu. Will come back for empanadas.

Since I loved Vegetalia Born so much I had to go back to another location before leaving Barcelona. We went to this location before a night out at Razzmatazz. I had another empanada because it was the best one I have ever had. The burger was delicious. the drinks were flowing of course before we hit the town and they were quite tasty! I still would say my experience at the first Vegetalia was better maybe because I got the paella. get the paella!!!!

It was fine not bad at all just nothing special that I thought was amazing. Food seemed all over the place, no real theme. There were nachos to ravioli to paella. Again nothing bad just fine.

We got some take-out dinner here and were very happy to find some vegan paella, lasagna and very kind staff! They use only paper containers for the food, which is great but also led to a big mess when we wanted to unpack it at home.

We came here to try the vegan heura paella and it was super tasty! Knocked off a star only because they got our food order wrong at first but they did rectify it very quickly and brought us some complementary olives.

This place is quite casual – though it's a sit-down restuarant that does evening meals it has more of a cafe vibe.

I looked up where to get a vegan paella and chose this restaurant in the Gothic Quarter. I had the vegetable paella and a glass of rosada wine and took away a piece of pizza with vegan cheese. The paella was made with brown rice rather than the usual white rice. The taste of the dish was good. The individual cast-iron pan was served good and hot. The paella was topped with (lentil?) sprouts, which I doubt is a traditional thing; I wasn’t a fan of them and put them aside.

We stopped here for a quick brunch on the way to the Gothic Quarter. There are tons of vegan options. We got the Thai Curry (SO GOOD), the caesar salad, nachos, and empanadas. Everything was really good!

Okay Food, Great Location - Edit
This restaurant is in a great location in the Gothic Quarter with a wonderful outdoor seating area. I went with my sister and had a decent meal and drink. The food was good but did not stand out during my time in Barcelona. We shared some tapas. Prices were fair for the area, so you do not have to worry about spending an exorbitant amount.
