Excellent Thai vegan food - Edit

A long established, 100% vegetarian food stand, located in the atmospheric and busy food court in Thong Sala.
There has been some confusion in other reviews saying it serves meat and fish, but it absolutely doesn’t.
Eggs, for the pad Thai, is the only animal product, and their pad Thai can very easily be ordered without egg.
I think the confusion is, that there are two other stalls that have vegan /vegetarian (options) and this is written on their large banners above the stand. Look for the sign in bright red and yellow right at the back of the food court that says ‘17 VEGETARIAN’
This place is absolutely worth a visit. Fantastic, freshly prepared, classic Thai dishes, and juices.
We have eaten here three times so far.
Highly recommend, is the pineapple curry, the stir fried eggplant, and the vegan pad Thai option.
I can’t fault anything I've had here.
It’s great to have a place serving all the traditional Thai dishes, knowing they are without animal products.

The dishes weren't outstanding, but not bad either. Staff was friendly. Tell them clearly that you don't want egg or cowmilk in it. One woman understood english well.

Omg that’s terrible. I find it frustrating when this happens because I feel like they trick people into supporting them. If you make the journey and later realise it’s actually vegetarian, you already picked it over the other vegetarian places so people are likely to stay and order anyways. Especially frustrating to have picked it over actual vegan places which need support.

Absolutely amazing vegan thai food. Fresh and not overly sweet and oily. Good sized portions full of colourful veggies for fair prices. Plus a large selection of inexpensive shakes. Highly recommended.

Read moreI was here two times when they were closed, but officially their opening time said open… so it’s not reliable. I finally had time to try them and ordered the Penang curry extra spicy. It came mild and too sweet for my taste so more westernized. Veggies and tofu inside - good amount is a plus. I also don’t like that the seasoning they bring out has fish sauce in it!!! I assumed because it said vegetarian that they won’t use it and hope they don’t use it for cooking! Better double check next time
Friendly service, prices are cheap: 70thb for most dishes. 60 for juices
Their juices look great and huge - so I will try them for sure!

Came here again for the shakes (idk why but back home we call them smoothie)
A fruit shake with mango and Passionfruit costs only 60thb for a huge amount and I basically needed to drink 1/3 of it and she purred more!
It’s delicious 🤤 - that’s what a shake should be like

The service was a bit long and i had to ask twice for tofu, but the food was really tasty and the portion decent. Recommend for a cheap option, but better options available at this food court, maybe a bit pricier though.

The stall sells thai food which is really affordable and you get a huge portion. Also does juices, some contain yogurt but i’m not sure if it’s vegan or not (ask if it’s vegan)
