Great Desserts, Sh!thouse Service - Edit
The cakes and desserts are the best thing about this Fitzroy institution. The service is hit and miss and on this occasion was pretty appalling. Apart from the complete lack of attentiveness, the $14 dessert I ordered was served collapsed (see pics) and my dining companion’s coffee spilt all over the saucer.

Central hub of vegan food in Fitzroy - Edit
The yaki soba had a flavoursome and mild sauce, huge pieces of realistic duck with a fatty interior and crispy exterior, and a good selection of veg. The burgenator patty was Beyond-like: smokey and umami. The cheese was creamy without any coconut flavour and the pickles added a good kick.

Was so pleased everything is Vegan......apart from the honey in the drinks 🤷🏻♀️
Read moreThat being said, the food is amazing!!! You can also choose to sit outside to eat at this take away, but food is still served in plastic take away containers (which we took with us to re-use).

This is next to Vegie Bar and you can get items to takeaway, which is good because it is fairly quick whereas Vegie Bar often has queues. Some of the stuff in the fridge looks a bit old but most stuff freshly made, they have some really nice bowls.
