WONDERFUL Menu de Dia!!! - Edit
A truly wonderful hidden gem in Urubamba. Julia is simply an amazing human & it was a delight to meet her! They are only open for lunch & offer a menu de dia (salad, soup & 2 choices for entree tea) for the low price of 10 PEN. We had the pumpkin stew & it was seasoned extremely well. Highly recommend you find this place when in the area!

Flavour explosion - Edit
This tiny, rustic and nondescript restaurant shouldn’t be overlooked, when in Urubamba. It advertises as vegetarian, I guess in order to speak to a wider public, but the lovely owner confirmed that their menu is always vegan. She is a nutritionist specialised in trophology, which is the study of food combinations and their effects on digestion and overall health. Needless to say that the menu was wholesome, and I was blown away by how flavourful everything tasted. It was by far my most satisfying meal in Urubamba, and the cheapest, too.
