Am Vortag des längsten und zudem eines der heißesten Tage dieses Sommers, kamen wir in den Genuss, in einem angenehm klimatisierten Restaurant, drei megaleckere Speisen zu uns zu nehmen! Wir wurden freundlich bedient und haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Definitely the spot to go in Karlsruhe for a nice vegan dinner. Lots of choice with good wholesome vegan meals, including vegan versions of dinner time favourites. There are English menus if you ask for them. Service was great. Their little cream filled horns make for the perfect dessert too if you don’t fancy too much more.

The cocktails here were really good and more affordable than in a lot of spots nearby. The food was good, but super pricy and the dessert gingerbread panna cotta was NOT good. It had weird consistency. The service was friendly but very slow.

Good food, nice staff, but it lacks that certain something to make it truly great. The menu featured many dishes with spelt and mushrooms, so if you don't fancy those, the only option left is the burger, which was a bit bland and boring.

Food is nicely presented and fresh, as well as made in house.
My gnocchi with vegan feta could have a little more power in taste, maybe an extra garlic-boost or something to make it a little more intense in flavor.
Nevertheless lovely.

Polizeieinsatz & Gewaltandrohung - eigentlich nur 1 Stern! - Edit
Ich hatte ein Hauptgericht für 20 €, was ich nur zur Hälfte gegessen habe. Wir haben den Besitzer gebeten, die Reste einzupacken. Er meinte, das sei kein Problem. Erst nach dem Bezahlen erfuhren wir auf Nachfrage, dass der Inhaber Spülwasser darauf getropft und es deshalb weggeworfen hat.
Read moreWir haben dann gesagt, dass wir das jetzt sehr unglücklich finden. In so einer Situation würden wir erwarten, dass zumindest der Kuchen, den wir zum Mitnehmen bestellt hatten (4,90€), aufs Haus gehen würde. Immerhin hatten wir auch fast 100 € für den Abend bezahlt. Der Inhaber ist direkt pampig geworden ("Wollt Ihr das Essen mit Spülwasser mitnehmen?"), hat uns aggressiv aufgefordert zu gehen und meinem Freund sogar Gewalt angedroht ("Geh raus oder ich verpasse dir eine, sodass du dich drehst!") Der Inhaber hat dann die Polizei gerufen, angeblich weil wir uns daneben benehmen würden. Wir sind im Gegensatz zu ihm nicht laut / ausfällig geworden, wir waren lediglich unzufriedene Kunden, die sich beschwert haben.
Die Polizei stellte klar: Das mit dem Essen ist keine Angelegenheit für sie. Sie empfahlen dem Inhaber allerdings, uns entgegen zu kommen. Eine Anzeige wegen Gewaltandrohung wäre möglich gewesen, aber der Stress war es uns nicht wert.
Fazit: Ein Besitzer, der Gäste respektlos behandelt, sie bedroht und die Polizei ruft, statt professionell mit Kritik umzugehen, disqualifiziert sich komplett. Für uns ist klar, dass wir dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuchen werden und wir können auch anderen nur dringend davon abraten.
Cons: Gewaltandrohung, Respektlosigkeit, Essen wurde bezahlt und vom Inhaber weggeworfen

I'll gladly add my 5 stars! Although the items on the menu were enticing, I went for the Sommer Rolls special. Incredibly good. And also quite a large portion. The skin of the rolls were tempeh -- such a wonderful idea, and very tasty. The whole plate was covered in excellent hummus and a pile of delicious kimchi. The MangoMinze drink was very refreshing on a hot summer day. The waiter was really nice, as well as enthusiastic. The atmosphere was subdued, with nice lighting and quiet and pleasant upbeat music. Highly recommended.

The food here was absolutely stunning. The pasta dishes were beautifully presented and the balance of flavours was spot on. The Bali bowl had a wonderful mix of flavours and textures and looked exquisite. The spaghetti ice and snickers ice cream were both incredibly indulgent and a perfect way to finish a very good meal. Lovely selection of drinks too. Beautiful restaurant and attentive, friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back and try some more tasty dishes.

We went here for lunch on a weekday and we were pretty much the only ones there. Usually not a good sign, but not in this case. Our potato bowl and green curry were excellent. The service was slow (considering we were the only guests), but friendly and the food was worth the wait.
