Delicious pizza and desserts - Edit
We enjoyed our stay at the Vistro very much. The staff was very friendly and the pizza was really good, although the base (and the crust) was very, very thin, so we were still hungry afterwards, which shouldn't be the case if you pay 15 Euros for a pizza. Thankfully, the place offers a number of really nice desserts!

It's a cute little café with a small team. The food was simply amazing, really high quality. Honestly, it was so well (home-)made and delicious. They were accommodating to our requests (e.g. pizza bread with cheese stuffed crust even though it wasn't on the menu). The experience is well worth the price.
Read moreThere's a downside, though, and it's not necessarily that it's rather far away from the inner city such that you need to change multiple times (which could be annoying for spontaneous tourists). It's the waiting times. I assume they're trying to make everything as fresh and with as little food waste as possible. However, since there were only 3 people present (early Sunday evening), the waiting times with multiple guests were enormously long. Felt something like 45 minutes between drinks and starters and another 45 minutes between that and the main dishes. My friend said they wouldn't come back because of this. The guests who came shortly after us had to wait probably longer than us just for a bowl of soup, I felt sorry for them. I personally would still come back, but maybe order the food well in advance by phone or for take away or just when you're not hungry and in no rush to get food.
Pros: Amazing, well made food, Friendly, accommodating staff, Clean place and bathrooms
Cons: Extreme waiting times, Rather far away from the inner city

Die Pizzen waren lecker und frisch zubereitet ( die Tagespizza sehr sehr fettig). Wir mussten jedoch 40 Minuten auf unsere Bestellung warten.. außer uns war nur noch ein Pärchen im Restaurant.

Die beste vegane Pizza, die ich in Hamburg hatte und auch die Auswahl an Desserts, Kuchen und Torten ist toll. Das Menü ist vollständig vegan und bietet auch einiges an Glutenfreien Optionen.

Das Café Vistro ist ganz idyllisch, sehr einfach gehalten, ein LGBTQIA freundlicher Ort, wo auch Tiere sehr willkommen sind. Die Mitarbeiter sind zuvorkommend und das Essen einfach nur lecker! Sehr zu empfehlen wer Pizza liebt!

The pizza was good but not amazing - the crust was very thin, almost cracker-like (very German fladenbrot-esque). We also got their tiramisu, and felt similarly about it. Staff was very nice.

I had the Chayenne pizza with pesto, cherry tomatoes, field salad, pear and mozzarella. The combination was excellent, very fresh and light. I don‘t like vegan cheese very much, but the homemade mozzarella was perfect. I hope they will add this pizza permanently to the menu.

Really nice to find vegan pizza with gluten free options. The gluten free pizza was tasty. It is a little far from the city centre but worth it for the options. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would go again when in Hamburg.

Die Auswahl an Pizzen ist super, ob klassisch oder etwas ausgefallener - hier ist für jeden etwas dabei. Ich war noch nie begeisterter von einer veganen Pizza. Der hausgemachte Mozzarella ist lecker und hat ein sehr angenehmes Mundgefühl.

Wir wohnen zum Glück ganz nah und kommen regelmäßig hierher. Die Gerichte sind alle super lecker. Aber wirklich besonders ist der Brunch und die Möglichkeit Gutscheine für die Allgemeinheit an ein Notizbrett zu hängen, für andere die ihren Geldbeutel nicht dabei haben oder wenn der gerade Ebbe hat. Wird auch gut genutzt.

Wir haben ziemlich lange am Tresen gewartet, weil wir unsicher waren, ob wir uns einfach irgendwo hinsetzen können oder nen bestimmten Tisch nehmen sollen. Die Servicekraft war super-busy und hat uns zu Beginn halt einfach erstmal ignoriert, was nicht so cool war. Als ich höflich aber bestimmt nachgehakt hab, war der Service dann aber echt super und das Essen hat die Startschwierigkeiten mehr als wieder wett gemacht.

Den Stern Abzug gibt es tatsächlich auch nur, weil ich das Tiramisu nur so mittelgut fand und man keine halben Sterne abziehen kann. Aber wenn ich nicht alles alles super-lecker und gut fand gibt es leider nur 4 Sterne, was mir eigentlich ein bisschen Leid tut, denn wenn ich das Tiramisu nicht gehabt hätte, wären es ***** geworden. Sorry!
Pros: 100% vegan mit echt guten Kreationen, generell freundlicher Service , tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Cons: Tiramisu nur so mittel-gut, relativ klein und etwas eng, aber noch OK
