Yummy coffee & cake 😋 - Edit
Only open in the morning, from 7am. At 7.45am, there was a choice of chocolate muffin, banana muffin, and trail mix scone.

Great coffee too - have struggled for vegan options in Chicago so finding this gem was delightful 💚
Note that all items have white labels, so you need to ask which are vegan. Helpful and friendly lady will advise 😊

I have eaten at West Town Bakery numerous times over the years. This location is located near one of my old homes, so it was hard to miss.
Read moreIn general, I have always found the vegan baked goods to be a bit dry. I do love the ambience and punk rock vibe of this place. I wouldn’t be opposed to eating their baked goods again but just not something I would go out of my way for.

This place has a cool punk vibe to it, helpful staff and offers quite a variety of vegan donuts, cakes, cakeballs and more which are marked with white tags on display. It was hard to choose with so many options!

Cute little bakery with plenty of vegan options. The vegan cake balls are great! Huge thanks to the girl working during our visit (black hair with bangs, tattoos, & piercings) for being extremely helpful, patient, & kind!

Look for the subtly marked items in their case for vegan desserts! All the white tags are vegan. Others may have eggs/dairy for vegetarian folks.

Look for the white labels, they are the vegan options. I learned this the second time I went. The first time I was given non-vegan items (beige) and told they were vegan. I could have figured this out by reading the other pictures and reviews which I didn't do. :-(

No Vegan Options - Edit
Didn't have a single vegan option on the menu or in the case of baked goods. One of the sandwiches was vegetarian. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and never saw a vegan option in here.

Cake balls - Edit
Had a good variety of vegan cake balls. They also had one other vegan option but staff recommended the cake balls. Good for a dense sugar rush but not amazing.
